Christmas for us is about going and choosing our Christmas Tree, sending greetings to all our friends, snuggling up and watching 'Its a wonderful life' on DVD.............having lost a child to a wicked illness, its also about living life to the full, to have compassion and humanity and remembering how lucky we are to have what we have - each other....
A barbie on the beach!!! Yeah well thats what I grew up with. When I came over here to live I really missed family at Christmas. Now there are so few left I still miss Christmas without Mum and Dad and always miss talking to them.
However I found that Christmas is not Christmas without children. Love em or hate em their exuberance and excitement makes my day.
