There just doesn't seem to be any who want to get in contact. Why is this?

I've only ever lived in the Republic, not in the North/Ulster/Six Counties (delete by preference), so maybe I'm writing from ignorance here, but given the still delicate and tense situation in NI I'd have thought people in general would be a little wary of meeting total strangers for a bit of houghmagandy as you might not get what you expected. I can't imagine it's out of prudery as all the NI folk I've met have been well up for the craic in all its aspects smile

I'd have to 2nd this and also compliment Mr Lickingham on using one of my mostest favourite and rather underused words. Houghmagandy - even if you don't know what it means you can just tell wink
I travel to Ireland and Northern Ireland for meets so they are definitely as you say up for the craic. But security is an issue and the general small and parochial communities means that folk prefer to travel a bit.
From memory (I have not checked) I think you have posted similar things before n64play. I'd suggest that telling folk about yourself and joining threads in the café will help to develop the trust that will be needed to get to the meeting up stage.
thanks for the comments guys, i appreciate it. You're right Celticq, I have posted before, and told people about myself in those posts, but its not persuaded them to get in contact. I take on board the security issue though, its a valid point and well made. I would like to reassure anyone reading this in that I have no interest in your religious or policitical views, only in providing and recieving the pleasure we all enjoy. I'll happily converse by email for weeks or months before a meet if thats what the person or cple wants, no problems. Apart from swinging I'd also like to get to know other people in as I haven't been back here that long and I don't know anyone anymore!
my other topic in the Cafe got locked cause its similar to this one. Suxx.
NOT similiar - the same.
But I am now moving this to the Cafe for you. Discuss away.
:P
cheers dude

Yep, it sounds so much nicer than "how's your father" or similar. I went out with a Scottish woman for 3 years and picked up a fair few bits of dialect which have come in handy over the years. I wonder if houghmagandy comes from Scots or the Gaelic? Either way, it's aye guid fun smile
Mr Licks
"whats the craic" is still the best one i think (and yes, thats how craic is spelt ;)). Discussion on though - do people in not contact each other because of security, or is there simply not that many Irish swingers?

Maybe an avatar change is in order, then?
i only put that on earlier lol, didnt realise. changed now smile
in my posts i have put my location though, its not made a difference. I'll try another post today...
having read 1 of your add and knowing the geographic and population demographics u seem to be cutting your chances of meeting others
yeah, thats probably true, however i dont have the means to travel much further. belfast is probably my best bet but I just cannot get there *sigh*
