I've just commited advertcide.
Adicide even.
By that I mean I've just zapped out my ad so therefore adless as of now.
The ad me and the forum me,they didn't ad was all about sex,about expanding my erotic horizons but as I got into posting on the forum it just looked wrong and it felt downright daft in terms of the PMs I've been getting,I've had nothing but quality ones from really interesting,thoughtful people.
Oh,I should add that in its time my ad had resulted in 0 meets so its not that big a symbolic gesture. rolleyes

Now I'm wondering if I should commit sigicide as well lol!

I havent put and ad for those same reasons. Prefer the forum and chat rooms though the chat rooms can be a bit awkward at times. They both seem less anomynous (don'n think thats spelt right lol

I've never really bothered with ad's myself to be honest and on the rare occassion I've posted one the success rate has been zero confused

We/I post here, have an ad. and now also use the chatroom biggrin

Forums - met lots of great people but NOT for sex, and have got to know one or two as friends also :P
Ad - met two great regular shags :twisted:
Chat - still sussing it out but trying hard - ask me again in 6 weeks lol

You are 100% right thought, there is definately a different dynamic between the 3 'mediums'... we found that out when we first went into chat and nearly got booted as I'd wrongly assumed people would catch on to my sense of humour straight away confused

I don't have different personas in each... I just tend to be myself... god help us all :twisted:
PS: I vote lose/change the sig :thumbup:

if you're typing and it takes a while, highlight and press copy before hitting send. We time out at 24 minutes wink

also useful if you're connection is dodgy, mine plays up all the time but you simply log back on, hit the reply button & then paste your previously written post! and Bobs ya Uncle (aka Dammy, who'll probably be along later lol
