Ive Passed my course!

Earlier this year I post about myself starting a taster course with the Open University and lots of people gave me good advice, esp with regards to studying at home when you have homelife and kids to be brought up at the same time. Well today finally, i received my letter to say I had Achieved the required standard needed! Ive now got points towards a degree if I decide to take it that way.
Im very pleased with myself, i worked hard and did struggle to fit it all in around family life, but at least Ive achieved something lol

I did have some help and support with my hubby and a friend who both listened and helped when I couldnt see the wood for the trees!
Well its so nice to have some good news for a change! :smile2:
Im the last person to blow my own trumpet (my self esteem doesnt allow that rolleyes

) BUT feck....WELL DONE ME!!! :smug:

Thanks for all the lovely comments, really nice to get support and positive comments from people who I havent met, yet feel i know in a small way.
It would have been my mums birthday today, so this has put a nice shine on a day that would have been a bit quiet.

Well done you!!!!! I know what it means to go back to education and achieve something. If you have the chance (and want to) take it further then grab the opportunity with both hands.......i know i've never regretted it.

As someone who'll finish his OU degree next month it's really nice to hear other's stories of success. I hope you go forward and get that degree becuase even though it may seem like a long way off and a hell of a lot of work, you'll be ecstatic when you complete it.
