What on Earth does that mean
It's a warm scottish greeting, drinkies
refering to the warm fire/chimney within a home and it is wishing you all the warmth and happiness. (absolutely no offence is meant by this) smile

Hmmmm Chris - chimneys and melons seem to be hot topics of conversation for you today - that's a little disturbing lol
they have loads of quaint saying in scotland
Every fire needs a wee poke now and then to keep it going, wink a wee bit of a blow to keep the flame innocent and the result is a lovely warm glow that makes u feel warm inside and out. lol Now that's what I call a lovely image rolleyes

Yup, alternatively, it doesn't matter how dirty the water, it'll still quench a red hot poker.
Is that what you're saying?
