Was such a laugh!............. i could go to him with any probs...and i would come out laughing me socks off!.......how ever down i felt!........ takes a special person to do that!
I think he would giggle if he new we where swingers!

So sorry to hear that Debbs - I had a wonderful uncle who died about 12 years ago, whom I think of an awful lot, and will always remember with so much affection. He was a lovely man, with a twinkle in his eye.
Once you get over the shock, you will always remember the good times, and cherish them.

When someone says my uncle/Auntie Granma dies it is easy to think "well at least its not a close realative....."
But I have had Auntie/Uncles/Granmas that have meant loads to me, in some cases more than my parents - its heartbreaking
Sister-in -laws brother died yesterday. 51.
I didnt know him very well, but she has been like a sister to me for 20 years, and just feel really sad for her and sisters.
So damn young, and so little we can do, when someone says its your turn.
Its just that it brings back all sorts of memories of close ones we have all lost, when we hear of others.
and...well.....thats good..cos we willl sit down and smile and say, hey ..do you remeber when Uncle Joe did.......
and we will think of all the good times we all had.
So big hugs Debbiewebs, and just think of him up there making everyone laugh as much as he made you laugh...and think to yourself....thats my Uncle that is..and be proud !
