confused:
If you could come back after death as any animal except human what would you return as and why....?
Just thought another daft thread would get some laughs...?
I'd be a cat - an elegant, svelte and playful feline. Gosh, just like me in reality!
Sappho xxx
do you ever remember a song by the guy who used to be on with esther ranston...Doc Cox...? he did a risque album years ago...
One was called ' i wish i was....
A line ...
' i wish i was a cat (meow) sitting on the bed, pretty girls would pick me up and pat me great big hug, they'd tickle my chin and wiskers and pat me on the head, and OH those wonderful thing i'd see sleeping at the bottom of the bed....'
I would like to be either a bird 9 for total freedom of the skies), a dolphin ( because they are so graceful, elegant and beautiful ) or a virus because I could knock the s*** out of those who really p*** the sane people off!
.. and he said that he'd come back as a Great White Shark. "coz they are cool and no other creatures (apart from man) attack them"
I want to come back as a horse. Not a horse that gets ridden (in the horse riding sense) but rather one that gets up late, has a splendid breakfast, stroll down to the stream with his mates and whiles the day away; chatting, playing cards and generally having an easy life.

I'd be a bull (like my little mate in the avatar). I would then have an excuse for approaching problems in china shops in the manner I've approached them for most of my human life.
Plus, they don't have a bad old life; plenty of grub, bedding and female 'duties' brought to them on a regular basis. They also command serious respect, which can't be a bad thing. However, best of all, I could get my own back on Janet Street Porter and her blasted Ramblers.

I was tempted to say a 'rabbit' but Watership Down and postings on this forum about mechanical 'devices' have dissuaded me..

I'm sure your bright eyes would be burning like fire given some of the women on here!
hi sappho,
i too had ideas on returning as a cat but for totally different reasons.
cats are, lets face it, vain, lazy and only interested in seeking food, attention and pleasure. .....oh, it would seem this IS my reincarnation. wonder what i'll be 3rd time round?
bed headx
note to self.. see, it IS possible to talk about cats without making pussy jokes... well done.
A Golden Eagle - soaring the skies, hovering on the thermals and looking down on the earth from my eyrie.
It's a tough choice, but I'd have to be a cat as well. There's something very appealing about the idea of sleeping twenty hours a day.
If I can't be a cat, I'll be a duck. I don't know why - there's nothing particularly appealing about a duck's life. I just like them.

How would I guess that one???
lol
PS - think I threw the pics out the other week... in a fit of duck pique!!!
Sorry...
me too djohn - specially on pancakes with spring onion and plum sauce!
Alex - you are angling for a JagsSlap... but Golden Eagles are too far away for sending slaps!!

For me, it has to be a lion....big lazy cat but packed with testosterone, and oooohhh those claws could do some serious damage
A Manta! Deep and mysterious, graceful but also curious...
Mrsmanta wants to come back as a Lion, queen of the jungle! A dangerous but lazy cat that commands respect but also manages to sleep a lot. (personally I think it has to do with the fact that when lions shag they go for 3 days non stop!)
I want to be a slug
sorry, couldn't resist it biggrin

Yep a nice rabbit pie after ferreting.
As for me I thought about being a ferret with all the pampered ferrets
you see around these days, but most owners these days spay or
castrate them.
So then I thought about a mythical animal that I would like to be and came up with the Phoenix so that I could come back as a youngster time and time again.

for me I would be a tiger... prob a tigress... as they are by far the more agressive.... along term thing since I was a kid and interestingly my daugter is of similar dispostion without any prompting....she is especially into siberian Tigers... and why not?
