back in the 80,s (when we were young)we used to come home every fri/sat night with a kebab. having tried to demolish as much of it as we can, there was always still loads of it left. now not wanting to waste any of it, we would eat it for breakfast. they dont taste any better the next day, unlike this chilli i am eating for my dinner which i made yesterday. the thought of eating last nights kebab now makes me want to hurl
I'm not a big kebab fan, never mind for breakfast!
However there definitely are types of food which taste better the next day.
I remember the morning after a munch, another female and I knocked on the room door of a single male to say goodbye  only to find him eating last night takeaway.............. lol
Yuk.....kebabs.
All those flies buzzing aroung the meat, whilst it is sitting there.
I reckon that is the cause of many a stomach bug.....would rather eat me own toes. lol
I used to do that with curry back in the 1980's lol. Lovely cold vindaloo first thing in the morning - groovy. Very rare there is any left these days, if there is it goes innthe fridge then is microwaved the next day, sometimes for breakfast but usually with chips for my tea!! :0)

Don't forget the equivalent of a glassful of oil in each kebab  The thought of them makes me hurl :gagged:
Son will finish off a takeaway the next morning but he won't next day leftovers of 'normal' food confused
Kebab for breakfast is great....
Not sure about eating one of those meat dishes wrapped in bread though ;-)
Think about it innocent

God knows! If I buy one when drunk it does not see the light of day
One thing I can agree on though is Chili does taste better the next day smile Seems it gathers flavor overnight. Mum always said you should make stew the day before you eat it as well.

Beef Stew
Mutton Curry
Cassarole
Chicken Soup
Spag Boll
To mention but a few wink
I've never been one for kebabs unless its the chicken ones.
But in the past, I have been known to put last nights chinese in the microwave.
I'm not sure that I would now?

Indeed, I'd add lasagne and chilli con carne to that too!
We have a local Indian takeaway that send out huge portions for very reasonable prices so we always have some left over to be nuked the next day. They also have an open kitchen so you can see your food being cooked from fresh. Many other takeaway foods have already been reheated so shouldn't be warmed up again.
I am partial to kebabs but they have to be hot. I would never think of eating one the day after.
I do a lot of batch cooking for the freezer - chilli, soups, stews, spag bol, etc. Hardly ever eat them on the day they were cooked.
Maybe Admin should start a recipe sharing forum? lol
Finding pizza in the fridge the next morning is just a little bit of heaven in our kitchen!
if that was a euphamism, kebeb sounds tasty for breakfast... served warm though.
