What are the best techiques for keeping wood - all answers appreciated ?

A good varnish or preservative would help I'm sure. :shock:

Wood is a natural product and should be kept clean and dry at all times, unless treated with an all weather repellent such as Creosote wink

'Keeping wood' is a very US thing... I worked there for quite a while..

ok , im puzzled, what does keeping wood mean?
is it a sexual thing or is it really asking the question how do you look after wood , as in the stiff (sorry edit "stuff" )from trees????

We always used to keep our wood in the woodshed,unless we were working on it when we kept it in the if it was firewood it went on the fire. lol

If the stimulus is sexy I have no problems with wood... and if your having trouble with the wood maybe you shouldn't be sticking it in your chosen target? As you perhaps don't like them very much?
