should i go see Kiss just for the hell of it?

No, I'm not envious at all!
Of course you go. The only bad gig is the one you miss. If i was handy i would escort you
A chance to see "The Hottest band in world!", too right you should go, sure to be a great show, I've seen them live a few times over the years and they always give it their all. Put on the greasepaint and get ready to "Rock & Roll all night, and party everyday!"

essex, get to newcastle and there is at least one ticket! wink

If I wasn't working, I'd seriously consider it!
Oh you have to go! And when Paul Stanley is screaming These are Crazy crazy crazy crazy nights... think of me in my youth, rock chicked up to hell, more hairspray, backcombing and liquid eyeliner than you can ever imagine, screaming it right back at him and wave the devil horns! Woohoo! You'll have a fab night though, they put on an incredible stage show! And probably most of their fans are our age or older too. And that pic below, that was how they looked in the 70's!
Do it and if you hate it you wont do it again thats all!
I thought they went down in that plane with Glenn Miller?

I hope that you do go Kaznkev and get back to us with a review of the gig.

Do they really? Cos they stopped doing the face paint in the 80's 90's! Oh even better then if they gone back to doing it for the show!
Kaz (Id quote you too but ive not worked out how to quote more than one person yet...) hairspray and eyeliner..... i was 14 and going through a phase. I'll guess tho that there will be one or two there still going through that same phase haha!
Maybe can help convince you? ;-)
Go for it - you'll have a blast! And even if you hate it, think of the story you'll have to tell the family at Xmas!
... if it was Hawkwind....
lp
who`s kiss????........something like maze???????????????
go hun think ya might enjoy it ,try see if theres any net footage any where then see if you might like it.
Choose a friend and go and remember
Be excellent to each other!

Go and see them.
I saw them a few times back in the 80's, when they'd stopped doing the make-up. They put the make-up back on about in the early/mid 90's. The current tour will be a full on stageshow with pyro, fireworks, the whole 9 yards. If you're not that big a fan, you probably won't mind that Ace Frehley and Peter Criss no longer play with them. The guitarist is a dude called Tommy Thayer and the drummer is Eric Singer. They use The Space Ace and The Cat make-up because Simmons and Stanley own the rights to it.
Go along. It'll be an entertaining night. Just put your brain in neutral and rock out.
Ya have to go see em now Kaz, I dreamt I went with ya last night! And I wish I could now! It was fanfuckingtastic! Think of it as a review! haha

"Rock and Roll All Night" is always the big finale to a KISS show, a real karaoke style singalong. Don't get caught out like the above, get your hairbrush out and practice in front the mirror! Here's a version with the lyrics, so you can join in the fun as the confetti falls and all the pyros go off, enjoy.

Plus Gene Simmons has the longest tongue on the planet so if you get to meet him backstage.... :rascal:

mmmmmmm Oh yeah!
Do they do the one with possibly the worst lyric of all time?
"you pull the trigger on my love gun......."
no i'm not jealous no not at all :kick:
you better bloody go cause i wanna hear all about it
was gonna get tickets but ran outta funds so sitting here green with envy
So Kaz, do you have your answer then?
Are ya gonna? Are ya gonna? Are ya gonna?
Tough choice, go to a rock concert or stay home lookin out the window at the sheep, now let me think about that for a minute rolleyes ffs just go and shag someone while you're there.
If only I were nearer Kaznkev
I really hope you get to go, I've got a ticket for the 2nd night at Wembley Arena and just can't wait. I've even changed my avatar to try and add subliminal pressure lol
if i wasn't so far kaz i'd gladly accompany ya wink

So we have won 2 tickets to see Kiss in concert on Sunday.
They are quite frankly not a band i have ever considered seeing live, kev has rolled his eyes at the very thought, and the one person i thought might like them has declared them outside even his eclectic taste range!
So , do i go and see what is apparently a good stage show, for the experience?
Or will it be hellish, dull and rather loud!(ok i know its going to be loud :gigglesmile

Intrigued to know, did you go? By all accounts it was one hell of a show! Plenty of YouTube postings too, more pyros than you could shake a stick at lol

well did ya?????????????
You never know, what you may like, or who you may find there.
If you have the time, do it.
I went to see Kiss in the mid 80's, loudest gig I have ever been at. I had no idea they were touring again, would certainly be a blast from the past.

Only a few UK dates to go now, great reviews of the shows so far. Look out for KISS on "The One Show" BBC1 next week, probably Tuesday's show.
