Don't agree. Mouth to mouth kissing is the most intimate form of kissing. It is equal - it can have eye contact - oral sex can sometimes be quite impersonal by comparison.

I would consider oral sex the intimate thing your can do....even more intimate than sex...as much as i love kissing and i do enjoy kissing other women when we swing,i just find oral sex....goes that one step further!....beside i always close my eyes when kissing ....just a habit.

Somehow, don't know why, oral sex is less personal. If we are about to be apart for sometime we would much rather kiss or snog eachother goodbye rather than have oral.

I think for me, it depends on the kiss - For me, it certainly can be the most imtimate thing you can do - bar none - but as I say - that would depend on the kiss itself.

Depends on what grabs you, I guess. I'm not talking about eye contact whilst kissing but just before and just after - that's when it really bites fer me - the look in the eyes.

Opinions obviously differ on this. To me, oral sex is a very intimate thing, but kissing (and I mean proper kissing) is a totally different kind of intimacy. Don't ask me why, because I couldn't tell you. It just is.
I think that's why I like it. And I think that's why some couples are uncomfortable with kissing others.

I'd also go along with that and I know a few on the scene who would most definately agree!
For a lot of people, the most intimate act, the one with real passion and feeling behind it, is kissing.

for me oral sex if definately less intimate would rather give a stranger oral sex than a snog but i have always been like that after all in my opinion sex is just sex love is something different and some things should only be shared with love

A kiss is a shared thing. Meeting as equals and sharing is a mutual pleasure that carries real meaning.
That's why I think kissing in company and kissing alone is so different. The intensity of concentration on the other person is light when you are in company but can be really intense when alone.

Yep I can go with that, a kiss for me can carry a whole lot of meaning or it can be a passionate snog. It just depends who I'm kissing.

I kind of know what you mean here Tune but I have been very lucky to experience kisses with Ladies from here that the world could have been burning down around me and I would never have noticed such was the intensity (in fact someone stole my camera from my hand at the NW Munch and took a picture :shock: Thanks for that Dammie wink

). Maybe that says more about choosing your kissing partner wisely, maybe not dunno

One thing is for sure though and thats, for me, kissing, with all the emotional, passionate feeling behind it is one of, if not thee, most intimate of acts and thats why I can understand some couples no kissing rules. It'd never work for me but hey...............

Oh i love this post.
For me kissing is an art & if you don't get it right, then your not going to get any were else.
Kissing can be gentle,passionate,horny & erotic. Sex without kissing just wouldn't feel right for me but the kiss has to be right.

I have to have kissing, its an essential part of foreplay. I just couldnt get turned on without it and could never swing with anyone who didnt kiss. I can tell how sexually compatible I am going to be with someone when they kiss me. A really bad kiss totally ruins the experience for me .

ooohhh kissing... I love kissing, it's a compulsory part of foreplay for me... get the snogging right and I'm going to want to rip your clothes off and go further... get it wrong and I'll be running in totally the opposite direction.
KIssing fektart is a completely different kind of kissing than seems to happen when I'm in a swinging situation. It's more intimate because of the love that is behind it. Having said that I tend to kiss him a lot before, during and after sex... though I have come to realise that I kiss male swinging partners less during the act... not a conscious decision, it just seems to have evolved that way. dunno

Kissing is an essential part of the whole sex thing for me..it's the way foreplay starts off..and err the other bits in-between ( I won't elaborate as I can't find the words redface

)
Personally I enjoy kissing ladies more in a swinging situation as I enjoy lady kisses more, they are more soft, sensual and erotic to me (but if a bloke wants to shag me he should have the decency to kiss me first lol.)
With my other half kisses are important, be they the looking into your eyes deep kiss while making love, or the quick peck as they are running out of the door. I can't explain why-they just are ;)
