I'd love to go to a proper lap dance club in the UK but ......
a) are there any primarily aimed at women?
b) anyone know of any that aren't sleazy and that i'm not going to be the only female (bar dancers)in there?
We've one here in Derby but it's right on the main drinks drag and I'd not be comfortable with somewhere local. I hate being the focal point of anything necessarily so don't fancy having a load of men gawping at me for being the only female customer in the club IYKWIM.

Lap Dance Clubs (for women)
Haven't been to one anywhere in England yet, but in the states, most clubs are very welcoming to women, from topless to full nude to go-go.
And the dancers love to perform and/or give lap dances to women. (my friend is a former stripper so I have heard from some authority)
Can't imagine there would be much difference over here?
I suppose there is absolutely no real point to my replying... but I am checking out a strip club on sunday near us, shall I let you know what it was like?

I've gotta be the only woman in the world that doesn't like these dancing men 
Really does nothing for me other than make me feel embarrassed for them :?
I remember the hey day of the Chippendales, urgh it revolted me :? blokes dancing about all oily and greasy, stroking themselves with that "I am fucking gorgeous, just look how gorgeous I am, look at me ......... oooh hold on, just saw myself and WOW I must stroke myself more, bet you wish you could get a bloke half as gorgeous as me don't you" look in their eyes.
Not a sexist thing here either, cos not overly keen on the whole lap dancing club thing, whether it male or female. That "pay me money, I will dance and stroke myself so you can look and appreciate how gorgeous I am" attitude.
I'm saying all this tho - I have never seen male or female dancers so could well be, in fact, probably entirely wrong. I just don't like the shallow concept behind it all, it's enough to keep me away. :?

I'm not the biggest fan of male "strippers" either Misschief, so I'm right with you there .... I was thinking more along the lines of female dancers (I don't care less if they actually get all their full kit off either.

Nowadays you see women at such clubs normally as couples. First many are very smart and not sleazy. Me my friends and colleagues have spent £000' in one evening on drinks girls and tips. Most of my experience has been via corporate hospitality. It can be very pleasant if the company is right. I even been and not had a private dance. I would say give it ago but it can be a very expensive night if your not carefull

Are we talking women for women, or men for women? There's one in my home town where women customers are welcome (and I know some women who have been there and had a great time), but the lapdancers are also women.

It's not just you Misschief, I went to a lapdance club in Vegas on a hen weekend. The club had male dancers upstairs, it was definitely not arousing, just funny..the only good bit was when the (very tasty) dancer told me to slap his arse, I left the biggest and reddest handprint on him :twisted:
A fun way to waste $20 but not a turn on, I'd probably have have done better downstairs with the female dancers!

I think you're talking about rude girls - my girlfriend's been with a couple of her mates. She says she found it a bit much but then she was taken there with no warning and suddenly all these girls started getting nekkid. She didn't say she wouldn't go again though!
