Late Night Snacks ... What's Your Favourite?

I know ... a totally useless topic but hey why not lol ... it is the New Year after all biggrin

Anyway, was just making myself my favourite late night snack of tortillas, salsa dip and grated cheese done in the oven until warm and cheese has melted ... and I was wondering what everyone else liked ... sad I know confused

Hey if I get enough replies ... maybe I could write a recipe book ... Late Night Snacks for Swingers :shock:

hmmm
I line tortilllas, but if it gets really late and I can't be bothered to put the oven on I like cheese and crakers or olives and feta cheese. smile

cheese and crackers and if there is any meat to hand , hehe , also dairy milk although thats normally all gone by night time

midnight snacks......
food wise i actually have an old american favourite...
cruchy peanut butter and marmalade on toast.... don't all go yuk!!! it is actually very nice i will have you know!!!!
drink wise.... can of red bull,carton of ribena and mix them together.....

Well when I can't sleep I find tucking into some chocolate and a glass of brandy generally helps smile

Not sure if this will find its way into any recipe book but what the heck...............

The best late nighter I had was a Naz Burger. It was a small late night curry/snakc bar on the way out of west london towards Heathrow. For you got a whole chicken breast dipped in powerful spices and stuff, chillies , salad and sauces, in a big bun.
great if you were doing a 12 hour shift.

slightly salted butter, Cheese, chopped onion, a thick slice of beef tommato, salt and freshly milled pepper, all on a warm crusty roll, or french stick wink

mmmmmmmmmmm, off to the kitchen, (and its only half five lol)

I like those little snacks you get in the supermarkets with the cheese,crackers and dip all in one. Or if I'm feeling adventurous marmite on toast is good.
