Leather repairs (very O/T)

I'm hoping that we have either some horseriders, or leather fetishists in our midst ;) Either way, does anyone know where I could get a very highly skilled repair carried out ?
It's for a vintage camera (no, really...) and, given the complexity of the repair, our local saddlers, camera repairers and cobblers have all said they won't touch it cry

I'm a horserider but I don't think a saddler would be very helpful, would have to be specialist work sorry babe can't be more helpful confused

Walsall has always been known for it's saddlers, it's been a good while since I lived and worked there, but they were always ready to help me out.

would expect that you could find someone to help you out there, lots of highly skilled folks there. It's been about 14 years since I worked there so I don't have a contact for you. If you are really stuck I may have a contact who has a contact, so let me know.

You could try contacting some of the camera magazines, or look in the classifieds. There are bound to be a few specialist companies somewhere.
