Who and why do posts get locked

I make a post because i`m over the Moon because my little lad has been away for nearly two weeks in Disneyland and all he wanted to do today is phone is dad, well i`m very sorry if i`m not one of your regular gang, but why -- LOCK the post.
We have posts put on every day saying i`m depressed i`m this i`m that by one of the gang and they never get -- LOCKED,
Is it because i spoke out against Sgt Bilkos idea.
Which ever mod took the decision never even told me why.

I'm sorry, I don't wish to appear insensitive to the theme of your post, I know it means a lot to you, but I think you have to ask yourself before posting a thread whether it's likely to be of interest to anyone or give people the opportunity to comment and join in.
No disrespect but I don't really think it fits the above.

Sorry I couldn't join in your excitement on the other thread of your child missing you while in the magic kingdom itself. Great feeling that is, hey!!!!
Thank you the little guy is missing his dad and what makes it even better for me is he is one of the kids who will not hug or kiss me when other people are about because his older brother calls him gay, i have told him its ok to kiss his dad, grandads & uncles but he still will not until we are alone.

Thats a horrible thing for his brother to say!......i still hug and kiss both my boys and they are 10 and 15,i've never had a problem showing affection to them,hopfully that way they will have no hang ups about it when they are older.

Got it in one ......... mind you, I haven't seen the thread in question but from what I've read here, it was a post that there is no response to, other than the traditional "ahh thats nice" "oh so sweet" ....... but you already know that its nice, sweet etc, surely it doesn't need clarifying.
A lot of us have kids on here and I don't think a day goes by where mine don't do something that either has me creased up laughing or shedding a tear cos they're so sweet ....... so I do know where you're coming from, you just wanna shout from the rooftops - but remember you're shouting to 24711 people, how many, because of your post, will feel that same feeling you did? Not many, it's not something you can express, you just can't type that bursting with pride feeling (let alone spell it!)

In short, from what I can gather the post had little option for people to respond with anything other than "ahhhhhs" 
I'm still one of the very very very few who enjoyed your post Bushwackers. Maybe because my boy left home and I'm all out of whack here myself and some things just NEED to be shared.
Perhaps random pm'ing is the new way to go, who knows, sharing on the forum is obviously a no-no.
A well, back to who's cum tastes like what and all the other crap that is acceptable.
