Excellent afternoon/evening biggrin lovely to see lots of faces old and new.
Lovely venue Bernie, easy to get to and stunning views all the way there for anyone who might come to any future drinkies, if they're visiting London from a bit further out :D

so thats where you were last night!... wink
Glad you had a good night babes....you deserve one!!
Could I just add how nice it was to meet you all for the first time last night. I ended up getting away in time to get home before the busses stopped, and enjoyed my time out very much. I was, in fact, a lot more sober than I expected to be on the way out of the flat in the afternoon.
The name of the noodle bar nobody could remember last night is Wagamama - just in case anyone gives a shit!
Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for being a wonderful Mum to us all, Bernie. I was intrigued to hear that you think I look better out of my work clothes.
Yep ~ just wanted to add my thanks for organising a lovely afternoon/evening.
Lovely to meet some new faces - some I didn't really get time to speak to (hopefully next time) - Tabbi we didn't get time to chat but I'll never look at your avatar the same again. biggrin And RT you remind me so much of an old friend from this site (which I can assure you is a good thing!) hopefully we'll catch up again soon.
Lovely atmosphere, lovely group of folk.
Didn't know how to react when the Landlord accused me of not going to the bar all night!! I suppose I should be flattered that he had his eye on me - but I suddenly felt a bit guilty as I was rather comfy on my couch. So, if you bought me a drink and I didn't get my shout in then I'll definately see you next time.
See you all soon.
CQ
Thanks Bernie for organising this laid back event. Still don't know how we didn't meed at Leicester. It was a very pleasant day / evening in London to make up for it though.
I had intended to pop my head round the door for only an hour or two. Seven-and-a half hours later I was looking for my lids (I remain an optimist).
It was a relief to find that the tooth fairy hadn't nicked Celticq's ring. I'm sure this could be phrased more clearly but I think you know what I mean.
Looking forward to seeing the photo of Mischief's Indian soon.
Ride safe, Ali.
Tabbi, wake Trainer up and tell him to follow his dream.
To the late arrivers (Hi Bassman) and early leavers, sorry we didn't get a chance to chat.
Looking forward to the next one.
Bernie
Thanks for a very enjoyable afternoon and evening in very pleasant surroundings I now

suffer a months holiday in Thailand, well its a dirty job but i guess someone has to do it.
Just wanted to say thanks for a great day (and night :!:  :!: ) out.
Special thanks to Bernie for organising it - it was a brilliant location (so brilliant we spent the entire day there and didn't sample the delights of the festival on the South Bank confused )

And to SW Trains smackbottom Tried opening the door to the train and it wouldn't mad people inside tried opening it and it wouldn't :x Next thing it starts moving and off it went into the sunset, or would've been the sunset had it not been midnight :undecided:
Then followed the earache about how I shoulda run faster  Run faster!!!!!!!!!! Run faster he said!!!!!!!!! I was in heels, had been drinking for the past 9 hours, a stomach full of nachos and bluddy great boobs to contend with - and was told off for not being more like Sally Gunnel!! :smackbottom:
Got off the train, with what I was told a 2 mile walk ahead of us - well if yer 6ft2 it might've been 2 miles - I'm considerably shorter, and it was a darn site more than 2 miles matey  evil
Then after asking for the 392nd time if we're nearly there/halfway/quarterway/fifthway I chose to grab the moment for a nice romantic stroll and forget we were on a hike 8-)
Me: Oh we can treat this as a nice romantic walk and talk about the stars biggrin
D: Yeh :?
Me: We could talk about how the sky isn't pitch black, it's still blue :D
D: Yeh loon
Me: <Romantic sigh> 8-)
D: Look at the sky, it isn't pitch black, it's still blue
Me: Yeh :?
D: Well that's that subject just about covered :?
Me: Yeh :?
Me: are we nearly there/halfway/quarterway/fifthway there yet?
Me: I need the loo
Me: are we nearly there/halfway/quarterway/fifthway there yet?
Me: My feet hurt
Me: are we nearly there/halfway/quarterway/fifthway there yet?
Then turn to D to see him about quarter of a mile ahead of me, doing eversuch a silly dance in the middle of the road :uhoh: :loon:
Wooooohooooooooo he had spotted a Taxi worship :passionkiss: My hero :worship: :passionkiss:
Ok Ok
We got the jacket!!!
Mischeif you should not have left it in the back of our car though lol
We holding it ransom though........ You will get it back after the programme in question :sticky: :scared: as long as you keep quiet. :censored:
Was great to see you both though joking apart. Hope not as long till we see you again as last time.
Thanks for the thanks lol But the big thanks has to go you lot (am not naming you all!!) for turning up - cos without you all there.......well I would have been on me own with a bottle of wine  As it was - I had great company, plus my bottle of wine
So......................what do we want to do next..............and when..............and where? More drinks somewhere? Bowling? Just let me know and I will sort it out wink
