To be frank, .................or Francis, Francine or in this case Judy, Jude, Julie, Judith or Julian, I did live and work in Islington for a while. I was on a limited time transfer with my job. I have lived and worked all over the world including the far east and much of Europe but I have chosen to return to the North West...............err, not just to be handy for "The Gay Village" despite what blue may tell you :P .......well not JUST to be near The Village anyway wink

Well maybe a little bit. Well OK, it played a tiny part in my decision on where to finally settle. Perhaps a medium part. OK, OK , it was a sort of major factor biggrin

. But after all, I am From Salford.

I live in London and I love it.....
Although I am with Judy on this one, I would love to live in Manchester....seems like a really happening City...looking forward to visiting soon... biggrin

We are off to explore the capital this weekend 17-19th ..
Feel quite ignorant as travelled to lots of place in the world but never stayed in london :oops: :oops:
So any tips on what do to and where to go wud be gr8 .

its mainly full of tourists all getting ripped off, go to central london and ask directions from someone ramdon on the street and see how many people you have to ask to
(a) get correct directions
(b) keep asking people because they can not speak english .
in certain parts of london i feel a foreigner in my own capital of my own country ..

I am adopted Northerner and agree with much of what Jude says..........just a more civilised place to live.!!!! Quite happy to live here...................
