Yes id heard about the spirits:cry: Hope they let me I do find it soon.
I lost my door keys a few years back - looked all over for them. Completely baffled to where they were... a week later I received this email from a seller based in the US:
Hello,
I did receive the lobster claw clasps that had been mis-shipped to you today.
Thanks for so promptly returning them. Two things: one, please tell me
what you paid in postage and I will issue a credit to your paypal account
(if you know the amount in US dollars, that would be great, otherwise I'll
convert it.); two, there were a set of keys in the envelope which I'm assuming I should return to you -- they are two keys with a key tag that reads "I'm having my period and can therefore legally kill you." (very funny). Anyway, I'll be sending these back to you redface

I was to embarrassed to buy anything from them again lol

Anyone seen my marbles? bolt
But seriously, since we've lived in this house (about 4 1/2 years) we've lost a scientific calculator - but still have it's cover - the dvd/video remote control, the key to the bureau and the spare car key. All have been blamed on a particular child, but he hasn't 'found' any of the items yet
I've been losing things around the house for years. One of these days, I probably lose myself.
Plim lol
i lost my car park pass for work it never left the car and i had no reason to take it out and despite emptying the car twice over including the boot and footwell mats it had dissapeared.
i got temporary pass from work which lasted a week and after that i had to buy a new one ..... sure enought the day after i bought one i opened the glove box to find my old pass staring right back at me!!! exactly where i thought it was originally and had checked there many times for it.
do you have someone devious in the house? as i used to play tricks on my brother by hiding something like the remote control for the tv in the morning then putting it under his pillow in the evening....... Just a thought lol
i'm always loosing stuff me put it in a safe place so bloody safe i never find it again
once i lost my door key found it a few weeks later in my peg bag i mean honestly how did it get there
although is kinda nice when i find money in odd places although can never remember what reason i had hidden it away for
Bet you find it in the last place you look for it.

Are you sure it didn't fall down the back of the drawer into the cupboard? ;-)

Of all the things I have lost.... Its my mind I miss the most!!!

Or down the back of the drawer and behind the cupboard. Best pull all the units out and check.
Just to digress slightly, we lost 3 kittens in the kitchen once. Turns out (after much searching and asking the mother if she'd eaten them in the night) they'd climbed into a slightly open bottom drawer and 2 had climbed up the back into the top drawer. Opened it to see 2 little heads peeping out lol

Awwwww how cute is that!!!
My son love to hide our keys. One set of car keys has been missing for about 9 months ... we've looked everywhere. Suppose we'll find them if and when we move!!
