I am terrible!!!!!!
I love garlic, onion and black pepper............... in or on my food.
What do you love in or on your food?
( my worst crime is to have cabbage sandwich with lots of black pepper redface )
There is no culinary disaster that cannot be saved by the addition of more chilli. Add a little, and the taste will be improved. If that's not enough, add more and no one will be able to taste anything else. If that's still not enough, add even more and make it completely inedible. Then phone for a pizza.
I'm an absolute sucker for fresh Parmesan cheese with everything! ...... Not some things, everything - If I can get it to balance on top of something then it stays, mind you, if I can't get it to balance then I tend to squish everything down until it stays put :lol2:

I am venturing out of the tin hut that is the poetry corner, lured only by talk of food; I shall return post- haste (it is a bit scary out here! rolleyes )
Mrs FC, cabbage sandwiches are not a crime: try VERY lightly boiled red cabbage, mixed with sliced apple, sultanas, and a dash of Cinammon, all put to bed in a plain tortilla wrap and warmed thoroghly. Delicious snack.
Right, I'm off now, I can hear strange noises. It's scary out here with the big people: I'm off back to the poetry corner.....
oooh wow, what sort of cabbage tho? would it work with Chinese leaf? love that stuff.
Be great to get the kids to eat something like that cool

oh god! Just about to submit this then had a horrid thought of exactly where you have put this cheese (sorry!) :shock: ................ I think there is one place it's probably best not suited ewwww! ............. We'll stick to the pineapple for certain places. Now do I need a little cocktail stick to pick it up :twisted:

I think that might get a little sticky and matted. Pineapple, grape halves and nice helping of champagne.
As for the cocktail stick. Youch. I don't thik you would need one but you can bring one for your own amusement. I don't think I've been a pin cushion before.
I'm a big fan of smoked bacon sandwiches and salad cream. My absolute favourite at the moment is a nice big bacon and brie sandwich with lots of cranburry source. The bacon is hot so the brie melts into it. I could eat them alllll day.

That sounds absolutely divine. You might also enjoy a steak served on a panini toasted with garlic butter, lots of brie and basil smile

On the back of this recommendation I dipped my Cadbury Flake into Parmasan and have to say that I think I have been mislead
I have to admit i am a great lover of Root Ginger. Not just an edible veg. Has anyone every experienced the pleasures of the Ginger finger.

in a politically aware society i would like to state that i am in no way food bias or discriminatory - I WILL EAT ANYTHING!!
Ok this isn't actually a condiment but it is bloody lovely.
Make yourself (Or get somebody to make one for you) a nice hot drink, preferably cocoa or hot chocolate. Unwrap a penguin biscuit. Bite the corner off and eat it. Do the same for the opposite corner.
Dip the penguin in the hot drink (also works with hot milk) and suck on the penguin like a straw. When you start to taste the drink through the penguin, eat the penguin. Then come back here and let me know if you liked it.

OK OK OK ...... apart from certain anatomy and Cadburys Flakes - what does Parmesan not go with! lol
Extras and add-ons eh ?
Freshly ground black pepper
The garlic sauce you get in a chippie.
Parmesan - slivers in sarnies and finely ground on most hot food (luckily for me !)
Brown sauce
That mint sauce you get with the tiny free salad in an Indian
Five spice and seven spice
Light soy and rice wine as a marinade or dip
Actually, it's tasty just thinking of these extras !!
Its a little off the original plot but its still food
hot buttered toast covered in castor sugar or condensed milk it rots your teeth but lovely if you like sweet stuff

With crunchy roast potatoes, all the trimmings, homemade trifle and lemon meringue.
Black pepper on everything, garlic with some things, mayo with a lot of things and sour cream and chives on jacket potatoes .................mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
