Nice boss indeed and well done that man.
Like Warwick I am also the boss, unfotunately I will be doing it the other way round and leaving early, whilst my employees have to stay. My excuse being that I work 120 miles away from where I live (which is just too far to commute if you dont leave the office until around 7pm) and have done, for three years which means living in a hotel Monday to Friday, so I figure the boss is allowed to go home early on a Friday to see his family. So gonna call it a day about lunchtime and leave them all to keep the place going.
Pouring with rain here as well in Huddersfield - got any drugs for me as well Nige? lol.
Mike.
Warwick:
If your a good boss or a mug will be judged on
a) your staff turnover
b) the response you get if you ever need to ask your staff to work overtime at late notice
Personally Ive always found that giveing people time off when they need it or for things like a nice day are repayed 100 times over.
Weathers dull and misserable here!! Lets hope it improves for the weekend
Foxy it has to be said that in twelve years of running my own business not one person has left the company other than through retirement
Also when the crew have to work overtime no one ever complains
I firmly believe if you treat people right they will treat you right
warwick
I think your right in the vast majority of cases.
But beware , there is always one. In ten years of runing my own business I found her. Although we had treated her like a member of the family she decided to try and set up in competiotion and take a number of my customers with her. Didnt work but it still hurts.
Doesn't sound as though he's going to need his wrist much just now - lucky fella :!: :!:
Warwick - more power to all your limbs and appendages :!:
This is such a lovely thread - it deserves to go back to the top - so up you go my pretty :!: :!:
