we started posting on here in december and just after our third or fourth post I went out for a while and some dirty heroin addict nicked our computer (and my sons playststation) we are now having to resort to using my mums computer when we stay over (and she's not in!!) as we had no insurance ( we weren't working at the time but we both just got new jobs wehey!!) anyway nearly lost my point then. Has anyone else got a little sick of the yobbish society in which we now have to tiptoe around for fear of being burgled/aped/murdered or happyslapped ? Are there any good people out there who just want to enjoy life left?
Oh yeah just to top it all off I knew who did it but the police couldn't arrest him as they didn't have enough evidence!! His family live opposite and every time I see him it makes my blood boil and I have to calm my bloke down to stop him from hitting him (cos you can guarantee we would be arrested!!)
Anyway hello again everyone hope to get to know you all better before the next tosser comes along!!
Boo (of smiffyboo)

#message changed cos i was being a dick#
True but do you want to live in a community where someone go to the Police and say 'you' did it and get locked up. Sorry without everdence...
However since the Police have stopped prosecuting and the CPS have taken over less crime is taken to court. The lawyers are judged on success rate. So if the villain is not 'bang to rights' blame the CPS not the Police.
working with them isnt like living with them
so did you invite all the junkies round your house for tea and scones ?
:gagged: :gagged: :gagged:
i'm not, i'm sooo not...
oh fuck it.........
I cant answer this post without turning it into a drugs debate - which we do not discuss on here as its against the AUP.
However.
I am of the school of thinking that it's not the heroin addict who is "dirty", its the drug itself - and the amount of crap and substances it's cut with that gives addicts the stereotypical 'dirty addict' label.
What you need to remember before ranting about dirtly lowlife scumbags etc etc etc and all the other names that addicts are usually called, is that itISan addiction and it is the all-encompassing need for a fix that is the power behind the action.
I've been burgled, robbed, threatend by addicts, I work with addicts & I know addicts. I've had a friend die in my arms choking on his own vomit after OD'ing on smack, I've seen lives completely destroyed by drugs, herion in particular. The thought I keep in the forefront of my mind, is what you are dealing with is the drug itself, and its aftermath, and the person in the middle of it all.
Be angry at the lack of service provision for addicts , at the lack of doctors who are willing to prescribe a substitute such as Methodone, be angry at the Government who refuse to fund recovery programmes for addicts and truthful honest drugs education in schools. But Dont treat other human beings like they're the shit on the bottom of your shoe.
im not going to say anymore cos in retrospect i was a bit heavy handed. sorry
junkies are scum. no doubt. lots of crime cause of addicts and they get off far too easy far too often. uk needs to fix up.
I'm done here. I'm off back to cplbbw's party in the bar. anyone coming? Thanks easyease for your pm. Want to forget this now
