Mail response time.....

Hi all,
I just have to ask everyone what their normal response time is for a message....
I only ask because I am shocked at a message I have just received on the site basically cussing me for not being genuine, just because I didn't reply within 24 hours!
I popped online last night just before bed and saw I had a few messages and quickly read them with view to responding today after I had shown my other half.
I came online 5 minutes ago and went to my inbox where I had a few more messages and 1 of them was from someone that had messaged me last night telling me I am a time waster and that I am not worth bothering about because I had not replied immediately!!!
It is quite a rude email all in all and if it weren't for me being too bloody polite I would cut and paste it in here and name and shame the idiot...
(Just a little riled here!)
So I am just curious how long other people take to reply to a message... is 24 hours classed as being too long these days??

I think people have to realise that we have our lives outside of SH as well and cant always get on line to check and respond to mails.
I dont see that 24hrs is to long at all.
It maybe that they were desperate to meet you or that they are far to good to miss out on lol

When we get one of those types - instantly add them to the 'ignore' list!

Try not to get riled and leave their 'issues' with them... they are likely 'not worth bothering about' either, let alone worthy of a reply from you, however much you might want to send one!
They obviously don't take rejection well and shouldn't be here as it happens here all the time. It will likely be linked to the low self-esteem issues we've been discussing elsewhere on the forum today and they've clearly personalised what they perceive to be someone who's read a message and chosen not to reply. As opposed to just planning to do it later.

Respond...'I'm so sorry I couldn't reply earlier,but I've recently been having a problem with spontaneous orgasms, Which though a little inconvenient for me, are I'm told responsible for making me,and I quote "the best shag on the planet".I mean my imagination has been running riot,I've been doing things I couldn't even dream of last partner is exhausted and I had thought you a worthy successor,unfortunately now you have revealed yourself to be a worthless tosser we won't be meeting.'

We all get those sort of pm`s from time to time, sometimes it takes us days to reply to mail as BMW is away etc and I like to discuss things with him if its in view to meeting.
We understand that people have lives some others obviously dont.

Just to add folks, that if you ever get anything at all that upsets you either as a pm or even a message while in chat please contact one of the admin staff,who will deal with it for you.
For rude and upsetting pm's then it's either a mod or admin who you contact and for chat room issues its either a chat room ops or admin.
There is no excuse for rudeness or abuse on this site and we will take whatever measures that are necessary to ensure that our members can use the site free from any type of hassle.
It's supposed to be a fun site for adults after alll so lets get to the fun bits wink

Rude? Well perhaps but when you're faced with a message such as this:
"You look gorgeous (my pics are private) and I really want to fuck your ass..."
And you respond with "thank you but no" and the response is "how no babes?"
It gets a little dreary. lol

The delete button is there for a reason. Don't be afraid to use it! :thumbup:

When we respond to any PM from anyone we like to do it when we are both here and as we both can't be sat in front of the pc 24/7 sometimes it might be a couple of days.
If we send someone else a message we always guess if no response in 2-3 days then the person isn't interested and we just forget it.

It's good to know that it's not just me that takes their time to reply to messages. It is all about having fun and being a couple we discuss everything....
Funny thing was he put on the end of the message that it is our loss we haven't replied.... I am now thinking I am soooo happy we didn't reply!
Dirtygirly.... funnily enough his first message was along the lines of "I want to put my tongue in your hole"!!!!!! Such romance... how is a girl to contain herself! :smitten:

Just to add our bit as well, personnally I dont think your reply time was in any way bad bbw and we sometimes take up to 5 days to respond to an email if it happens to fall on a week when Mr is on shift as we like to write the replies together so in that case we could be called all kinds of things
