A quick question....forgive me if its been asked before (i did do a search but found nothing).
Is the 'make friend' button just a way of keeping a list of the profiles that you are interested in or does it let the 'friend' you have made know that you are interested?
If so how do i find out who has made me one of their 'friends' ? Is it obvious and I'm just a billy no mates............ :cry:
The reason I ask is that other sites I use have a similar feature but you can see both your friends and people who have befriended you, there is also a list for matches where there is mutual friendliness. I like this, its a little more subtle than using winks....
anyway .... enough of my inane ramblings

I take it you are reffering to the friends part of the pm system..
You can do things with the pm system..
If you are male/female or couple you can block certain gends'a from sending you pm's..i.e.
if you are a cpl and do not wish to receive pm's from single guys in response to your ad(s) then you can block them IIRC and if you have certain single males on the site who are friends you can add them to your friends list and they will still be able to send you pm's in the normal way and wont be blocked with all the rest...
The same goes for anyone.....You can block certain types of people from sending pm's and add friends so they wil be able to pm you..
