Ta matey - one does ones best redface
If you ask nicely and its ok with sassy TLF could be pursuaded to bring her magic lightbox and colour anaylisis stuff to Pussypose wink
Okay... who's gonna tell me who/what the PussyPosse is?! confused
The pussy posse is Sassey-seren's private all female parties at her home in Wales!!
Jelly,
Food
Drink
Clothes
Shoes
Camera
I only ever wear make up socially ... I never wear make up for work or generally. I have a really pale complexion and struggle to find anything that looks natural enough.
For socials and outings I do tend to make up my eyes and put a bit of lippy on but I'm veering very much towards "goth" colours, ie black lipstick, eyes, etc but struggle to stop myself from looking like someone's punched me redface I so need to get the hang of eyeliner LOL

Maybe we should have a makeup/makeover/pussyposseythingy/karaoke party!
I obviously love make-up. The trick to it is to get the right look for you. Arguably I mess it up often, if you listen to the reaction I get on the streets, but in the correct company I'm usually popular ;)
I have a particular look I am after and I sometiimes have to remove all make-up and start again because I've gone for colours I thought were cool but once on looked awful... but that's rare. It's just about vision - know what look you are after. I've done the subtle thing too, but to be honest, when it's a bloke in make-up there is no such thing as subtle and you just have to go with what looks good to you.
Colours depend entorely on your own tastes - never listen to experts who will feed you lines about what colours go with your own colouring etc as they do not know your tastes and most often will recommend colours for you which you think look stupid. Just play with the stuff and find something you think looks good and you can feel confident in - then your natural hotness and sexiness will shine through (or your natural freakiness, if you are me...)
Thanks Gothic. Problem is, I dont know what looks good on me - i think I need some self-confidence as well as the make up lessons.
i like your look!
I just learned in front of a mirror and messed about for ages. I often do make-up for friends now too - and have been known to give makeovers to young emo kids in the toilets at clubs... gone are the days when i did anything else in the toilets at clubs... ;)

Next munch we're at together then .. bagsy we the mirror ;)
I love the goth look but it always looks like a chimp put my make up on

I can manage goth make-up...its how to put these damn 25" dreadlock hair falls in before March 25th that's the problem :lol2:
Fancy a pint or two in Derby sometime soon G_P ?? smile
ow I can plait those locks in but I can't do the waxing in thing... too bloody complicated and time consuming ;)
they have to go in individually??? omg I thought they come on a band or weft
sod that, I'll go skin-head lol
mmmm skinhead girls...
For fake locks to look decent they really need to be either plaited in individually or waxed in professionaly - preferably by someone who specialises in weaveing at an afro-caribbean salon. It's a tricky skill to master. Short and spiky of shaven-headed is easy enough and I do adore the Tank Girl look biggrin
I'm in danger of turning this board into a goth fashion discussion forum so I'd best shut up...

You, me, the rest of the girls, 35 gallons of pink fizz and a mirror = no problem!
Did anyone elses Touche Eclat go mouldy (very quickly)or is it just me and my manky skin?
I do adore the Tank Girl look biggrin

rotflmao :rotflmao: I'm a natural, what can I say :lol2:
right thats enough, back to the proper thread topic and make-up, i'll just shut up :rotflmao:
They are as permanent as you want them if they are waxed in - difficult to remove, actually, though it depends on your hair type. You can feel them, too, and they make your head feel a bit weird until you are used to them - most people remove them after a couple of months even though they still look good because they can get really annoying as your head always feels dirty even after shampooing.
I was going to shut up, wasn't I? oops...

I am thinking about extensions and have seen a hair person a while back who wants to weave them into my hair or was it wax now? Anyway, my worry is Gothic_Punk that as I tend to play with my hair a lot, as in run my fingers through the back a great deal, just how sturdy are these extension thingys? biggrin

Only have extensions put in if you have plenty of time for maintaining them, otherwise they will ruin you hair  You need to have time to brush though all the bonds every day morning and night, and washing them takes ages. Also when you first have them put in you can get really head sore from them, mine was so bad that I could hardly sleep for the first few days and nearly got them taken out 2 days after I spent 600 quid having them put in! Apart from all that.....I loved them...... :D

when I'm out I look like a cross between Cleopatra and Kiss (the band, not our 'Kiss') :giggle:

You've seen my pictures then? :lol2:

Come to think of it, why am I not an honourary member of the PussyPosse by default confused

Ladies don't become honorary members hunni so I'm hoping you'll get your name down for PP4. There's no initiation but I can be persuaded if you really want one
