Hello
I wonder if any one else has this problem or knows what causes it.
Under " My Account " and to the right of " Mailbox " I have the number 1 in a bright red box indicating one unread mail.
The problem is it wont go away!. When I have read my mail it remains.
After I log off and come back in it is still there.
Whether I have mail or not it remains there lit, a bright red indicator of mail in my box.
It is there now looking at me, tempting me to see if I have any I resist the temptation to see if I have mail, it remains quiet.
If I click on mailbox to see if I have mail and there is none, I swear I can hear it silently sniggering away. It sounds like "Got ya! Got y! Got ya!". It may be my imagination as I am beginning to crack.
Help!.

This seems to be a reasonably common problem - I've seen other threads about this. If you get a support ticket, they'll fix it for you. Or you could ask a Site Admin.

I had this problem some time ago and it niggled me the same way as it did you. You know deep down it's not a massive problem, just a little glitch, but christ, does it bug you to death!
I submitted a low priority ticket and it was fixed within 48 hours. Can't fault that really.
I can sleep at night now, safe in the knowledge I have no bloody mail!

I still got a red '1' after my friends thingy and it aint gone yet - have contacted admin. they responded quick too which was nice as I Put it Low priority, they asked if it had gone yet and it hadn't so have informed them via the support ticket - hope it does go soon as I agree with Marya. It aint nothing really but it does piss me offlol

Ditto on all counts!
Sent in a low priority support ticket and within 24 hrs I got a response telling me it was fixed.
Oopsy daisy I've been lied too again!
