Hi all
This may sound a daft question, but when dressed do you use the ladies toilets. I have not managed to venture to any TV venues (yet). Obviously there is no law against dressing as a woman, but this line could be crossed by going into the ladies. I am now ready to go out, but I thought this needed clarification. Your advice would be much apreciated.
Thanks.
Toni
I'm sure, if you look like a lady, and use the cubicle (not try to pee up the wall like a bloke), remembering to wash your hands and re-apply your lipstick afterwards, most other users wouldn't give you a second glance. If you went into the gents dressed as a lady, the situation may be a whole lot different.
Hi,I usually use the ladies but ifs theres a queue I use gents,in gay bars this isnt a prob but you get strange looks in straight bars though, invaild toilets can be a god send in this situation . xxxxxx
I was under the impression that if you go out dressed then you should use the ladies .... I know that I wouldn't take offence if I seen you in a ladies toilet xx
I went on a night out, and a TV friend was with us, and just came to the ladies loos with us...
the bar we were in it prob wouldnt have been wise for her to use the gents loos!!!
I do not think there is any law that would be breached by using male or female toilets, other that 'conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace'.
Please forgive this off topic observation but with the subject title of this thread I read Tonicduk's name as a subtle variation of a well known cleaning agent for toilets.
Oh well .... never mind.
I'm sorry I cannot offer any sound advice other than it probably depends on the venue. If it is a TV/CD catering establishment then I guess it doesn't matter at all. If it is conventional but tolerant venue then some ladies may not be tolerant of you splashing yer boots in their tonic so to speak.
.
If you use a Ladies' cubicle and remember to shut the door (you're not at home now :roll), and you look feminine, I really don't see that it's an issue.
