Mama Mia - What a brill film!!!! :)

Went to see Mama Mia "the greatest ever chick flick" tonight and it is BRILLIANT
Have you seen it?
Did you sing, clap, dance and smile for 2 hours?
Did you have to queue to get in?
Did you have some tone deaf old bat singing all the songs, sitting behind you?
I want to go and see it again ......... it was so so good

I went to see it this (rainy) afternoon with Mr W, and our 13 and 9 year old girls. It was on the recommendation of a gay mate and a very straight Royal Marine mate, so I thought it might have broad appeal!
Kids enjoyed it, Mr W really enjoyed it (:undecided smile

and I thought it was so-so. Loved the scenery though- now I really, really need to book "our" little Greek island for 2009! evil

Tried to see it last week with some mates...but there were massive queues and it was already fully booked :shock:
So trying again next week...getting tickets in advance!!

Our local multiplex is doing special dress up, dance in the aisles singalongaMammaMia screenings.
I still have a blue shawl I stitched hundreds of silver beads on to say "ABBA" (with the backwards B, of course) years ago when I went out to see a tribute band with a bunch of girls.....that was a giggle!

First date ! When he asked me on the phone re going to the Cinema I am sure he puked sad

when I suggested sed film - being a Techno fan. I am not in to Abba myself, But what a feel good film, Happy, Happy, Happy. Oh & btw,M now knows all the words to the songs-& sings the relevent ones to me. Can't wait to see it again. B. X
