Just when you thought it might be safe to leave your money where it was...
Mandelson's back :scared:
And he's been appointed to get the Country out of the mess made by commissar brown! confused
Isn't this the man who lied twice about some of his very dodgy personal dealings and had to leave the Government on both occasions to save Bliars skin?
Has brown taken leave of his senses or is it that Mandy is re-appointed on the maxim of "set a thief to catch a thief" as he seems to be an expert on how people in public office can line their own pockets when the rest of us struggle to pay the bills?
Isn't his other "special skill" telling the non-political class in that slimy way of his that everything in the garden is rosy?
Expect to assume the position soon, arse in the air and eating dirt 'cos Mandy is masterclass level at screwing the nation...
Just when people thought that the forum wasn't politics-mad.

I`ve got it !!!
He`s Gordons secret lover !!!
he heard about the size of mandy's caber no doubt
This Government beggars belief.
This guy is about as dodgy as Reggie Kray, though at least the Krays were up front.
Mandys a liar and a thief and has quit twice, and still Bottler Brown brings him back. Mind you, would have to be an idiot to join the labour cabinet now. Not long to go before they are all out of work...the muppets. lol
The whole fooking lot of them are morally corrupt...
they've also brought back Nick Brown (presumably to keep Mandy company)
it's a farce.. Brian Rix couldn't have written better
wtf are these people on (apart from our cash, of course!)
Quote by flower411
It can only be a feeble attempt on the part of Brown to draw media attention away from the important issues !!
The papers are going to have a field day with this news rolleyes
What is really going on in the background that they are trying to hide ??
I was told there is a large stash of diamonds in the safe at number 10, but it is only a rumour.
maybe the Irish have it right...
"fook 'em"
Mine's another Guinness tank yoo very mooch sor...

That would be Mandy then
i see you don't understand...that was the last Tory administration..... one member got jailed for corruption and telling total lies..... and another admitted used to accept brown envelopes full of cash so as to ask a question in the house of commons.

Surely then you should apply that philosophy equally to both sides? dunno

My references are to the now.. the re-appointment of a disgraced Labour Government Minister who has resigned twice amidst shady dealings and is brought back to life by the present Prime Minister.
Your references are to the past and in typical fashion, blaming the Tories for all of Labour's failings.
They've been in power for over a decade ffs!

What references?
I was merely suggesting that by telling dean to "move on" you should apply that to the other side of the debate too.
I don't think that constitutes me "blaming the Tories for all of Labour's failings" at all.
Anyway, I'm not going to get into a tit for tat banter about it.
Have a lovely day GnV.
Nola x
Honestly!
Just stick to the point:
He's wearing a really horrible V neck sweater under his suit on the news today!

Sorry Nola, you are quite right.. I should have said dean's posting
edited and duly chastised smackbottom

But The Lovely One is right, I'd be more than happy to debate politicians' crimes against sartorial elegance!! lol
This artical from Littlejohn today, sums up everything about this liar. It just goes to show how desperate Brown has got, to let this slime ball, back into Government.
One sentence in this read " if the average human body is around 70 per cent water, then Mandelson is 90 per cent spite. There has been no more malevolent influence in Westminster in a generation ". lol
Read this and weep Mandleson.
I'm disappointed Mandleson's back as was hoping the installation of Brown as PM would lead the government away from spin and on to a course of honesty.
In my view he served his purpose in changing Labour's image and ensuring we had a government in place who would assist when times got bleak, as they are now ... and not let them damage lives. Remember re-possesions .. high interest rates ... inflation ? I can but can not remember anything that was done to assist people who had their lives wrecked.
I have faith in this government showing compassion and using everything in it's power to minimise the effect on people of an inevitable world wide economic crisis ... thats what "socialism" is about. I'm not afraid to use the word, new Labour are !
If it takes Mandelson coming back to sell this to the nation again then so be it ... i'd prefer it if Brown could do it without him, but alas that`s not his style. The electorate deal more in sound bites and spin than substance, Mandleson is a master at that.
Peter Benjamin Mandelson (born 21 October 1953) is a British Labour politician who is the serving Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, appointed on 3 October 2008.
Having helped Labour come to power in 1997, he was then forced twice to resign from Tony Blair's government while holding Cabinet positions due to political scandals.
The man is a crook! Does Gordon Brown think that us ordinary folk can't remember what a liar and a nasty b'stard this man is?
