Just when people thought that the forum wasn't politics-mad.
The whole fooking lot of them are morally corrupt...
they've also brought back Nick Brown (presumably to keep Mandy company)
it's a farce.. Brian Rix couldn't have written better
wtf are these people on (apart from our cash, of course!)
maybe the Irish have it right...
"fook 'em"
Mine's another Guinness tank yoo very mooch sor...
oh right...so let me think was it this lot that accepted brown envelopes stuffed full of money....such short and selective memories some people
i see you don't understand...that was the last Tory administration..... one member got jailed for corruption and telling total lies..... and another admitted used to accept brown envelopes full of cash so as to ask a question in the house of commons.
I'm disappointed Mandleson's back as was hoping the installation of Brown as PM would lead the government away from spin and on to a course of honesty.
In my view he served his purpose in changing Labour's image and ensuring we had a government in place who would assist when times got bleak, as they are now ... and not let them damage lives. Remember re-possesions .. high interest rates ... inflation ? I can but can not remember anything that was done to assist people who had their lives wrecked.
I have faith in this government showing compassion and using everything in it's power to minimise the effect on people of an inevitable world wide economic crisis ... thats what "socialism" is about. I'm not afraid to use the word, new Labour are !
If it takes Mandelson coming back to sell this to the nation again then so be it ... i'd prefer it if Brown could do it without him, but alas that`s not his style. The electorate deal more in sound bites and spin than substance, Mandleson is a master at that.
Peter Benjamin Mandelson (born 21 October 1953) is a British Labour politician who is the serving Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, appointed on 3 October 2008.
Having helped Labour come to power in 1997, he was then forced twice to resign from Tony Blair's government while holding Cabinet positions due to political scandals.
The man is a crook! Does Gordon Brown think that us ordinary folk can't remember what a liar and a nasty b'stard this man is?
