It seems a little strange when other sites make a very good living out of catering for the people who may be in a relationship they treasure but for one reason or another decide to play away. This site doesn't do that.
On here, these people are almost looked down on.... Why?
I think SH is missing a trick. There are alot of men and women on here who would declare their situations and positively seek each other out if SH added these as seperate categories.
Come on SH......... smell the coffee...... recognise the opportunity currently being missed.

I suppose I'm trying to make the point that the current married category is generally used by partners, not marrieds who play away.
I understand your not wanting to play here but to some, its a very safe non threatening area because the other one also has tooo much to loose to be less than discreet.

If you actively want that, you can do a search for couples and/or males and/or females - so it's fairly easy to distinguish between couples and individuals. Personally if you really treasured your realationship you wouldn`t play behind your partners back. My personal opinion.

Again my personal opinion. I am on this site to seek out people similar to my partner and I. I am certainly not here to be possibly involved in a relationship break up. Im sure there are those who are seeking nsa with another person who is in a relationship but to be honest I would guess most want nsa fun with people who are being honest with their partners.

There is already a section for you to put your status and some info about you on your profile. I would think that would be enough.

I think I fully understand what you are getting but as to whether sh would think it would be a good idea I don`t know. Personal opinion I dont think I would be.

Serendipity, you make my point. For those who are being up front about playing away, why not have a seperate category to make it easier to search on, or is there resistance to this because its seen as "illicit" by some people?
I know of quite a few women and men on here who are in this sub category and would really welcome it.
I don't agree with anyone having to lie because they are not able to choose a category that really fits them properly.
Your personal feelings in this shouldn't really be considered, rather what is right for everyone. If personal feelings were taken into account, many straight people would want to associate with the gay community and visa versa....
My thoughts are for what would make this already good site even better.

If you want a 'corporate' response from SH then contact the people who run the site direct. If you post in the Forum then you'll get the personal opinion of the members who choose to post in it.

excuse me for being a bit thick....... but if you are a married man or woman.... doesn't "married" already cover it??????

everyone admires honesty.... you do have chances to be honest without having to create a whole new category for it.....
for example..... i am black ..... could I have a category just for me???

Seems a bit to ask from a lifestyle thats supposed to be based on trust and honesty, yes it happens and i for one don't condone it, but i certainly wouldn't encourage it and thats what your asking SH to do.
And as it stands any single profile can have a married status as it is, and if you wish it also has a text box to describe your current status. But why would people who play away want to advertise that fact anyway :?: no point being honest with strangers about it if they can't be honest with the person their playing away from.

Not really, you only have to search for singles, what’s your fascination with people playing away? Is it a guilt thing? Seems a bit hypocritical asking for a separate category for married people playing away when you have your own status hidden on your profile?

Simple James... I'm a single gal with absolutely nothing to hide partner-wise. However, I do have a job that could potentially conflict with my choice of being on this site. Therefore, no face pics. Is a matter of personal choice and safety for me - nothing more sinister than that!!

Personal opinion 
I'd welcome a facility in the search otions whereby you could choose which category of status you were looking for. If I search for a single guy and click on a lot of the profiles that result a fair proportion of them are married (but at least they're honest :D ). Having a seperate category would be usefull for me, so I could choose not to look for them.

If your married and here without your partners knowledge then you should only have the profile of a single person as you are not actively seeking to meet as a couple and there you have the option to state you are married...
Pretty self explanatory really and thus negating the need for an extra option with reference to marrital status.
