So, this is the weekend of the Fifth Masquerade Ball!! :eeek: :eeek: :eeek:
No-one else has come up wih an idea for a theme so we are going to go with Ice Pies idea:

What I was thinking was we each decide whether to be an attacker or a defender and create temporary IDs to assume the role of some kind of magical or mythological being, be it Roman, Greek, Norse, LOTR, whatever or just invent one.
As long as we got roughly equal numbers of goodies and baddies, I think it could be a blast! biggrin

Those that haven't taken part in one of these before please read the links to the previous 4 below:

This is slightly different to the format we have had before, so if it works, then all well and good, but if it all goes pear shaped, remember it was Ice Pies idea!! :shock: :shock: confused :? lol :lol: :lol: :lol:

Now for some rules:

You will need to register your new Username with a different email account from that which you currently use.
The Ball will take place in the Masked Ball thead, and ONLY in the Masked Ball thread. Any “Masked“ Posters outside of the thread will be deactivated and that Poster will take no further part in the Ball.
Site Members will be restricted to having one Masked Identity only and this identity must be PM’d to me before they post using that Identity. This is so that I will know which Postings are from established Site Members and which are from the weekends Newbies. This also means that when it comes to de-masking time we will be able to deactivate the necessary accounts.
Only those taking part in the Ball will be allowed to post in this thread. Posts from non-participants will be deleted.
De-masking will take place between 9 and 11 on Sunday evening and I will begin deactivating the surplus accounts at 11 o’clock.
So, all you have to do now is think of a magical or mythological being (you can invent your own) and decide if you want to be an attacker or defender, then go for it!! :? :? :?
