Hi
As per other post im 22, a boy some would say, however I like to think old for my years, intellectually offcourse.
My other issue is that ive a strong appreciation for older women. Something like 35-55? Now this isnt an add (but feel free to PM wink ).
Some may say its a phase (ive always been like this) and ill grow out of it-I dont think so, perhaps ill age to match it. I cant see me at 52 wanting an 80 year old woman (no offence). For example Kate capshaw (spielbergs wife-starred in love letter) is 53, now to me she is perfect. she looks better now than she did in Indianna Jones!
A lot of my friends thought i was sick to think there moms were nice, but there is a twist. My own mother is 65. Therefore 40, well isnt out of the way to me, its still young compared to a motherly impression im used too. I also find the total balance and control portrayed from most attractive well maintained intelligant professional women a rush in contrast to a girl my age concerned with status, materialism, wealth, socialisng etc.
Most people dont support or except my taste, how do you guys feel about it in here, thanks.
Hiya Bluethunder!
Aha! The AGE GAP is a wonderful thing! It leads to all sorts of twists and turns and power play.
Not that I've been out with an older woman, you understand. wink
To date, all of my boy friends have been older than me, and sometimes the gap has been substantial. When I was your age, I was seeing guys in their mid to late forties. I have no interest at all in men my own age, and younger guys actually turn me off! I can't explain why, just as most folks can't pin down exactly what they found attractive in their partners.
My current partner can get a little defensive about his age at times, (there's 17 years between us) and I think it's something that a lot of older partners show - they almost apologise for the gap. I find this strange behaviour. I can honestly say I only notice his age when he points it out. rolleyes
I suppose my vision is different from everyone elses?
Hxx
Yeah i agree that older partners often are deffensive about the age gap...when i first married i was 21 the ex missus was 35 and gorgeous....yet she always said that i would stray with a younger women......well im 32 now and happily married for the second time (she"s only 34 sad ) and after seeing the ex wife briefly last week i can honestly say she was better looking than ever.....fantastic figure, size 16 ish all boobs and bum,and yes i would have loved the oppertunity to show her she is still a lovely looking woman at 46.
Muture ladies...hmm cant beat them biggrin
I must admit i fancy men of all ages,to me its more of an individual thing rather than men of a certain age, weight, size etc etc.
But if thats what turns you on then why not??
Clare,xxx

My ex is 13 years older than me, was fun whilst it lasted but he sooned aged sad We still get on like a house on fire, just couldn't live together. I'm a party girl and he hated it.
Hubby is same age as me .
I've no preference on men's ages although I'd tend not to go for younger than me, those I've met are immature and I'd like to think I'm not old enough for a toyboy :giggle:
For me, as long as there is maturity and personality then age isn't a problem. I hate pushy, aggresive men etc and it takes me a long time to let someone into my trust (ex victim of domestic violence).
My parents have an age gap of 18 years and are extremely happy, married 32 years ... so age gap isn't an issue for me specifically.
Every mans dream biggrin
I lived with a girl/woman for three maybe four years, We had a gret time.
I had no preconcieved ideas about it lasting for ever, and it did'nt.
I was mid 40's she was 22 at the time, we enjoyed the same things. Clubs, Motorbikes, Music, etc.
I can't put my finger on any one point that made it go wrong but it did.
We don't see each other now as we live in different parts of the country.
Memories are the one thing that can't be taken away.

Typed out a reply to find my connection dropped and lost it when I logged in again. 2nd time lucky......
Go with whatever floats your boat, flicks your switch etc. There is nothing unusual about it and certainly not a like some of your friends seem to be suggesting. I am definately an advocate of sex with older women and so many can truly be more attractive and sexy than a 25yr old cover girl.
What I would say though is having had 2 failed (serious) relationships with women in their mid thirties when i was in my early to mid twenties, the emotional gap can be vast and make things hard work - there is another post in this thread (Gary30) where he talks about the older woman being insecure about the younger man wanting to run off with someone their own age. I had the same problem so I would try to keep things casual and fun if i were in your shoes.
The current Mrs Chris is 3 years older than me and is perfect!
Interesting replies peeps, thanks a lot.
I agree with the emotional gap, and believe, it could be a time bomb in reality rolleyes :!:
Thanks again lol
i totally agree you can get along quite well with a woman much older than yourself i have loads of male friends in their 20 s
i used to think it was all fairy tales about young men being attracted to older women
but now im in the .......urgh older bracket ive realised its not
i guess its because im more confident now anout my sexual preferances years ago i would have been to shy
wink
i used to worry about hitting 40 but ive been told its a great age for women so now im looking forward to it
I can't wait to be "mature"

I ll never be mature but would never look at guy under 35 without thinking of my kids

Spookily enough I was an early starter (losing my cherry at 12 yr old - never looked back since), but when i'm in a bar & start to talk to anyone, anything under 26 could be my kin, this therefore becomes slightly offputting
I understand that only too well, but in the past it hasnt seemed to stop from trying and on occasion with suprise, succeeding biggrin
