hi this may sound silly but does any one realy meet on here or is it that we are too far away from peeps can any one giveus some ideas where we may be going wrong

If you pop into LMU, you will see there is a Scottish munch planned for late November, so even in your neck of the woods people are getting together smile

If you mean private meets, have you tried placing an ad? Or replying to any in your area?
How can we tell if you are too far away from people? Giving your location as *North of Scotland* is not exactly a help. Maybe it would help if you were more specific? Why not list your county at least?
Failing all this, try moving a little further south of the border. Plenty going on down here wink

You can meet people on here, however you'll need a laser and a large laboratory to digitise you so you can fit, plus one of these is a standard requirement

OMFG - they've hacked in and re-written it. Instead of 40 drops tomorrow, now I'll get 80....and the M25 will be solid all day (hmmm, that last bit doesn't need a re-write though )

If the truth be known c2us4, there is only me and you on this site.
I have 28,000 usernames and have to remember the personality of each of the names. Sometimes, to make life easier, I invent users that have no personality, such a Postie, HornyRed, GenHertsCpl or deancannock, so that I don't have to think too much!!! confused

Saw the post, logged in to answer and found it has been hijacked!
Well anyway, I have met folk from the site (it was good fun as well) and as far as I can see they DO exist - unless Bilko is now in the business of producing SH virtual members and sending them to Europe.

Are you advertising? How long have you been advertising? How specific is your ad? Do you respond to ads? How specific are your responses?
I think a lot of people are let down by their methods, but at least as many are let down by their expectations. You may not be "going wrong" at all, but may just have unreasonable expectations about the speed of results.
I can only speak for myself of course, but the quick fix has never been my personal motivation. I've made many real friends through this site but played with very few. I've never been in a hurry to get into anyone's pants, just let things develop naturally, and I'm extremely happy with how things have turned out. Don't try to force it, just sit back and enjoy the ride (so to speak ;) ) is my philosophy. biggrin

Who was it said they couldnt find anyone to meet with in Aberdeen? I find loads and loads. Some of the most interesting chats I have are with men in Aberdeen!!
Shame I live about 3 hours away!!
