Just an idea...like you have a symbol for anyone that has paid for extras.....maybe we could have some way to identify if someone is a full member. We see people list on site..and as part of that they have to place an ad for example. However they can not respond to any replies unless they become full members. So would be nice to know they are not answering because they are not interested..or because they can't as not full members. Would also be interested to know the split in membership numbers we see....as to how many are actually full active members . we see we have 994,919 members at time of typing...but the max i seen as listed on site is 5000 ? Seems to be alot of people missing somewhere !!! Should we delete members that haven't logged in for 5 years say ? Can always re-join if they do come back !!

I agree with the last bit. Including members that haven't logged on in years is a touch of false accounting. I'd far rather have an idea of how many actual members there are.
But where would we draw the line? I know some have come back after years and years.
But those who have joined since the big change and have to pay to be members surely are no longer members after their membership payment isn't renewed? I'm not sure how it works cos I've been here for years.

I think the members thing is wrong anyhow.... from friday when you opened you post to 9am sat morning the time i am typing this... surely there hasn't been 1672 more people joined??

It's not the case Foxy, you can register as a site member for free, it's just you cannot do very much as a free member and in order to use the facilities of the site you need to "upgrade" ie pay your subscription. When the subscription expires they revert back to free members with limited access to the site, they still remain as members on the site database.
I agree with you there Dean, when i first joined i had lots of pm`s and could only send winks to those i was also interested in, then you never know if they think you`re serious becuase it was just a wink you sent back, so in the end i paid the subscription just so i could make proper contact
thats the point, they dont want us knowing whos whos cause they want us to reply to there winks or ads and when they get the email saying you have mail, the powers that be are hoping curiosity will get the better of the freebies and they will pay up to get the message,
when the message just says "no thanks" the freebies have now paid for a month so try and make the most of it and go winking all over the place.
i do think it would be helpfull to everyone to be able to see who is a freebie, a member and an extras.

If you are REALLY interested in someone, the search facility is the ONLY part of the site which can distinguish between "Standard" and "Premium" members. But you have to enter everything you know about that person to limit the number of "hits" you get, enter "premium" as one of the parameters, hit "search" and then troll through the list of people who fit your description to see if the person you want is there. Its very time consuming and probably only worthwhile for someone who's profile you really fancy.
