When you're at work, lying in bed half asleep or busy doing something that prevents you from hanging around here in the Cafe, do you ever get ideas for threads? :idea: :idea:
I get shed loads sometimes smile
Trouble is when I get the chance to eventually drop in here I've usually forgotten what they were! sad :(

I can be so witty when on my own, driving home from work etc. and then forget evrything when I sit down at the PC only to remember it all again later.
As for phone numbers, I tend to go for the bar mat approach! biggrin I have Holland's biggest collection of bar mats with phone numbers on them and I have no idea who they belong to.
Problem is I am afraid to phone them in case they come from someone important!

The older bars may still do that but normally if if you get a "tab" here they write it down in a book or simply add it to the till these days.
If you do keep a tab however there is always room for a mistake and I have thought that I have been overcharged on so many occasions now that I pay as I go.
