Memory loss

When you're at work, lying in bed half asleep or busy doing something that prevents you from hanging around here in the Cafe, do you ever get ideas for threads? :idea: :idea:
I get shed loads sometimes smile

Trouble is when I get the chance to eventually drop in here I've usually forgotten what they were! sad

YES
I can be so witty when on my own, driving home from work etc. and then forget evrything when I sit down at the PC only to remember it all again later.
As for phone numbers, I tend to go for the bar mat approach! biggrin

I have Holland's biggest collection of bar mats with phone numbers on them and I have no idea who they belong to.
Problem is I am afraid to phone them in case they come from someone important!

Sh1T! That is what is going wrong! lol

The older bars may still do that but normally if if you get a "tab" here they write it down in a book or simply add it to the till these days.
If you do keep a tab however there is always room for a mistake and I have thought that I have been overcharged on so many occasions now that I pay as I go.
That is the canny Scotsman showing through! :lol:
