I completely understand that men have other problems too,but i was just saying about the pmt stuff,i didnt mean to offend anyone and hope i havent.
As men go Steve is very good at trying to understand my periods and the effects they have on me,so in that way i am blessed.

Clare Bless You!
You haven't offended anyone! It's been a serious and sometimes funny thread. I think it's brilliant that people can just express their personal views and everyone is just chilled about it!
Love LC xxx
Yes, and everyone kows that men are in no way shape of form inferior because they can`t give birth etc.
They just are! biggrin

Well I must admit you got us beat there!
Just think what a privilage it is though! Giving birth! Us men have to do other stuff to prove our creative worth like, paint, write, invent, be in rock bands, play football, compose music, climb mountains, go into outer space just because we can't do what you do. We have to compensate you see...were driven to do STUFF!

Just as long as you are all aware of the lengths you all have to go to to get anywhere near! :smug:
Actually, Mars would tell you that being there whilst a woman is giving bith is also a great privilage, free access to the gas and air!

But you really don't know that your born, you have to shave if you don't want a beard and thats about it for you guys, your soooo lucky.

There speaks someone who has never had a testicle crushed, or been too careless with a zipper!
Seriously though, hope you're back up to form soon.

Look guys, we know you suffer but it's just... different and it hurts!!! Lots. But unlike appendicitis or something you have to hide it, cover up, take the Neurofen and smile. I once travelled 2 hours to a Regional Management Meeting, walked in, looked around and said to myself "Well, it's a cert no-one else here has just 'come on' this morning."
And girls - it stops one day!!! But fortunately and contrary to what you read on Women's Health sites your libido doesn't have to stop at the same time. It's been 2 years for me now and quite honestly the randiest 2 years of my life lol
Robin Williams covered it nicely in a stand-up routine : "I leave a lovely, placid lady, kissing me goodbye on the doorstep and when I return she's up on the roof with a sub-machine gun!!!"

Perhaps, but have you ever had really sensitive bits work through the larger lace holes in your sexy undies, and you haven`t noticed, so you pull them off quickly anyway............... surpriseduch:
Yes, it CAN happen.............a er, friend of mine told me!

corrie hun....
we all have crosses to bear and that is what being different is all about. I was just posting to the original post in a sort of ' I know it is a common joke thing we guys always get aka periods and babies', but it just airs the fact we too suffer loads yet often we cant/wont share because of our upbringing. I aint going to harp on, many have said it better than me, and I dont have a strop on about comments raised. Just to show that I understand where it comes from, but that i think it is good for the ladies to share it, but just remember when your mates begin to slag us off for it you can ask them a deep pertinent question from a guys point of view? I like to think I am caring and understanding, and will always be here if anyone needs someone to get some grief off with, but like I always say dont tar us all with the same brush. Some of us are feeling delicate today, and I guess if it is possible I am having my own PMT moment....
[ smile
i never had a girlfriend that suffered, some got quite horny, others liked it
with the tampon still in, others just perfected their oral skills that week,
wouldnt getting stoned (on medicinal grounds of course) help?
Possibly not. It`s a depressive drug, (like alcohol) and *could make things worse mentally, although it might help with pain relief. I spose it would vary from person to person. Probably have to watch where this conversation goes though (AUP?)

I've just been given some super-duper pain killers off the doctor, the kind that make you go dizzy so I'm actually looking forward to next month just to see if they really do work!
Sad I know!
Well yes we all have our own little trials and tribulations and I know that there are some ladies who go through absolute agony once a month, I am sorry you have that but let me tell you something ladies I am so glad I am male as I know what it is to admire a woman from a mans point of view and yes I do admire her so much.................. :inlove:
I know us mene are so lucky
After all we only have two things wrong with us that we have to deal with....
Everything we say and everything we do....

I've just been reading through this thread and I realised Im not alone with the feelings that PMT sufferers endure.
I have suffered terribly with PMT in recent years, I've always managed to control or keep a lid on how Im feeling to a certain extent. This usually calm, sensitive, objective, understanding, positive and confident person with a very *weird* sense of humour turns into a raging mad woman at times.
I become paranoid, suspicious, distrustful, confused, vulnerable, destructive, feel the world is against me and nobody understands, and feel totally and utterly miserable.
Sometimes those feelings are so overwhelming its difficuilt to control them and try and get on with daily life. No matter how understanding a partner is, it must be very difficuilt for them.
Yesterday, I totally lost it and in the process probably lost someone that I cared about very much. Today is the *downer* day, realising what I've done and most likely not able to put right (again) is another feeling thats undescribable.
Any woman that suffers has my utmost sympathy, along with those who are important to us......
Sometimes, all we need is a big hug and some TLC.....

I couldn't agree with you more!...........................i am at pmt now!..and all what you said is sooooooooooo true......but it has made me feel better reading it!....as i now feel i am not the only one!.as this is one of those feelings you get with it.
I do hope that things get better for you!.......................must admit had a hell of a go at Mr D last night!.................luckily he nos me by now!.....and not to take any notice!
Heres a hug from me :therethere: and a passionkiss
Thank you debbiewebs smile :smile2:
I think I should be :gagged: during PMT time......I might keep out of trouble then hehe My mouth goes into action before my brain does.......
One of my workers bought me a keyring with "I'm having my period and therefore can legally kill you", not sure what she was trying to say lol  Surely Im not that bad confused:
Thanks again

But you really don't know that your born, you have to shave if you don't want a beard and thats about it for you guys, your soooo lucky.

Shaving's not as easy as you think, you know. I know that women shave their legs and stuff, but that's not even in the same ball park... Shaving is an art that takes us men years to master properly. Every bloke's face is unique in its requirements. A razor that feels comfortable for one man will feel like it's stripping about five layers of skin on another.
It can take ages for a man to find a razor that he's comfortable with, enduring years of irritated skin, stubbly patches and razor nicks. Same goes for shaving foam/gel. I'm using King of Shaves gel at the moment and it's fantastic for me, but someone else might prefer Gilette, or Tesco's own brand.
In order for us to minimise any razor nicks, we have to learn the contours of our face so well, we could shave blindfolded. This is incredibly difficult to do and requires an incredibly precise sense of touch.
The art of shaving is something that is passed down from father to son and is all part of our coming of age, where one generation passes on its knowledge to the next.
Hope this provided some insight into what shaving is really like for us blokes... wink
