This council certainly knows how to splash the cash on it's Xmas tree.

Still it could be worse just....they could not have got anything. lol

Tiz a bit limp, tree that is not the thread. Our council (Ealing)gave us Â£50 for Christmas. Apparently the first/only council to give a refund to all council taxpayers. Jury is still out as to whether or not services have been compromised to pay for it but it's an interesting experiment.
