Did anyone else read the article about threesomes in the Metro this week?
It fetured 'sex expert' Tracy Cox saying that another person should only be introduced if you're young, free, single and looking for fun. Apparently it is ALWAYS a bad idea to have a threesome if you're in a committed relationship!
Guess we're all headed for the divorce courts, then, eh?
The moral is; never listen to 'experts' as they talk bollocks.
Knowing the way the british press works, we can probably expect to see Tracy snapped by some vigilante photographer lurking in an Amsterdam sex club sometime soon, in direct opposition to her piece in the Metro (which I didn't see, but wish I had). What she might mean - or how I interpret it - is that threesomes aren't something to be resorted to as a way of shoring up a relationship on the slide: that it's healthier and/or better as part of an already vibrant, healthy relationship. Which would be regardless of age, I think.
why is it these so called experts only ever base their statements and predictions on the THEORY. they only ever look and observe then make statement s on what they think is going on etc.
They never seem to get into the practical side of the studies then make these big statements based on solid physical results.
Also why is sexual pleasure and satisfaction apparantly not allowed if your not young, commited and part of a couple!
to me the 3some when your all young free and single is quite a selfish experience I think it would be more about self satisfaction
but in a long tem committed relationship or marriage you can obtain as much pleasure in giving, and satisfying your partners needs and desires can be very arousing and sexually exciting and in a good committed relationship what goes around comeas around
and as long as everyone is happy with what is going on what is wrong with that!
sounds more like sour grapes to me
:P
I read the 3 some thing in the metro
I thought it was off the mark by a mile on nearly everything
I recon there are just as many mmf 3 somes as ffm
It was obvously writen by a non swinger

Well until a so called expert has the balls to admit that they have experience of the swinging scene, then I for one will continue to see what they write as a load of bollox.....
we are in very stable relationship and we always have threesomes. personally we think that you have to be in stable commited relationship for it to work.

Echo that - oh and BTW, never trust a sex expert who generalises and is called Tracy!
I've had enjoyable MFF threesomes involving my current and previous wife and think that total trust is essential. I'd rather have a threesome with a known and trusted partner than a total stranger whose who's just out for fun and whose background and motives are unknown.
