Why do Mice pies taste so much better at Christmas?
Do you make your own or buy them from shop and if so which one?
My ability to cook does not so far extend to anything with pastry.
I buy my own and seeing as most of my general shopping is done in Sainsbury's, I get mine there smile
:P I shop online and so far this year I've been good and haven't bought any mince pies lol
Looking forward to a crappy Christmas without the kids, but hey, no post-festivities flab to shift after hey
i buy the iced luxury pies for christmas...nobody in the house likes mince pies, so i suppose i'm either greedy, or selfish...or both...but i do love em...

Not even with some cream? Or ice cream?!
I think we are all conditioned in to eating mince pies at christmas, I know that I can't help but reach for the box of sainsburys finest come the 1st december, but do i really like them, no i don't think i do.
How do you make them? Theres all sorts of weird gear inside them little beasties. On secon thoughts don't tell me.
Brandy butter anyone??

pinkbubble (mr & mrs): I agree with you, I enjoy Christmas but I'm not a mince pie lover, would rather eat the box they came in............
