Mind on the job?

:doh: Can't believe I've just done this!!! I was busy reading the forum (as you do) and suddenly realised about half an hour ago that there was something I needed to wash that had to be dry for the morning. It was only one item so I went upstairs to get some more stuff I could put in with it, put the stuff in the washer, turned it on and sat back down.
All of a sudden realised that not only had I NOT put in the one item that needed washing in the first place :doh: but I'd put everything on a long 40degree wash when I was supposed to put it on a quick 30 degree wash. I'm now going to have to wait for the door to unlock before I can start the wash again.... and look at the bloody time!!
Looks like I may be here for some time rolleyes

You need my washing machine, 1 you can change it on the fly, and 2 you can open the little door at bottom and perform manual drain and door open...
Still feel for you, done things like that myself.

I had to stop the programme, start a spin and then turn it off for 5 minutes. Everything is now in again (including the one item of urgently required clothing rolleyes

) I just hope it finishes fairly soon cos I'm already tired :sleeping:

she might be rubbish with washers and stuff, but a dab hand with yer ole combi boiler. not a natural blonde obviously? :bolt:

Angel Chat, the number of times I've done similar things is impossible to count. I walk into a room to get something & ............. what was it I wanted????????????????

Yikes, I'm only 34 - you mean it's going to get worse? :shock: :shock:
I've had a bit of an absent minded day actually. This morning I emptied our fax machine at work and put everything into seperate piles and then distributed it all. About 4 hours later I suddenly realised that one of the piles hadn't ended up on the desk of the person it was intended for and it took me another 20 minutes to find them dunno

What I really need is a good night's sleep, but I've put paid to that myself now with the washing episode rolleyes
