I used the sauna at naturist clubs in the old days and everything was on show, I had eyefulls of wide open vagina's all the time and it was lovely, I never complained. The women saw me looking and didn't bat an eyelid, the only towels on show, we're used to sit on and not to cover anything up.
One day a husband and wife came into the sauna and there was nowhere to sit, so I invited the wife to sit on my knee and she did so without hesitation and sat there for ages until there was a vacant seat, strange thing was, I never got the prick stand. (weird)
I appreciate your answer, but a naturist club is probably not the best example to answer my question. cheers
In London the only mixed saunas are also naturist health spas and both have a relaxed policy. Although you are provided with a towel how you use it is upto you. I know some women who cover themselves up. Other women have thier upper part on show. In both cases some people do go just for a sauna or jacuzzi.
Thanks, I'm starting to get the picture. It seems that people do have the right to be naked if they wish? Would that be a fair comment? I would think most men take the opportunity am I right?
Anybody else got their experiences to add?
Thanks Joe
As a guy who has attended mixed saunas, most people are relaxed about nudity and these places are clothed optional. Most people are chilled there, but you do get the odd letchy guy who is going to try it on without a females permission etc, but then you would get that in a pub , club , any public place where females are present.
Thanks for the reply. The point is that as my wife is a total prude sexually with lots of hangups I am gobsmacked that it appears she put herself deliberately in the position where nude male bodies would be exposed to her!
Is there any chance that some health clubs insist that users remain clothed (in some way), if not I am totally gobsmacked!!
Hi Jo,
I think before anyone can answer your question fully a couple of points need to be clarified, firstly which sauna did your wife go to? The local leisure centre or some adults only private members club? Second, what has she said about nudity within this place or is it something you have guessed at through fallacy and misconception?
I have experienced both sides of the sauna scene for want of a better way of saying it. Unless your wife states otherwise, in my experience, if a sauna holds single sex and mixed sessions then there is rarely (if ever) an acceptance of nudity within the mixed sessions, be it male or even topless females! Many don't tolerate it during single sex sessions either although some will (I think it depends on the likelihood of being seen by opposite gender staff or patrons in other parts of the facility.
I have also used the naturist saunas who advertise as such and do not have single sex sessions. Even within that environment there were plently of people who chose to wear full swimwear.
Why not go along with her to one of these sessions and experience the situation for yourself. Who knows, if it is a naturist environment you may be able to pursue this together and open up a whole new dimension for you both.
Thank you for your articulate contribution. Firstly we are talking the 1980's, the health club is no longer there but it would have been a mainstream one. Secondly, since I met her I never recall her ever suggesting we went together and I think she has only ever used one once since we met, at a hotel we stayed in.
Perhaps she was only there hoping to meet someone!
