more msn help needed

OK you might think im mad .
but for a few days now iv been hearing a bell ringing off and on when i boot up my msn .
rolleyes its driving me mad.
i know its something to do with msn coz it only happens when its on.
if i move the box about it crackles like there a mike on but i dont have one any help .
and no wise cracks please

It might be your webcam, possibly a problem with any noises MSN makes when signing in, new e-mail etc. Would be a corrupted sound file requiring reinstallation of MSN if that was the case. If it's specifically MSN that has that sound and no other programs, then a simple reinstallation would do smile
