When i had the snip a couple of years ago, i thought that the amount or the thickness of my spunk would change.
But it hasn't changed at all. And i have had the all clear, so it's not as if it didn't work.
I thought that i would still get the fluid but not the thicker stuff .
Can anyone shed some light on this. or anyone else found the same thing happen to them.

I was given crap about the snip - as I was 33 at the time - they kept on and on about me being too young, but I kept on and on at them that I was having it done and that was that!

On the other side of things, we know a woman who has got six children, all with different fathers, and the oldest only 7years old. She has been practically begged by the maternity hospital to be sterilised after each of her last three pregnancies.
When she got pregnant with number 6, she was told they would not accept her for maternity care if she had any more babies as it was becoming detrimental to her own health and that she would have to travel to another health authority 30 miles away for her care.
Don't know if this did the trick, or that she has finally accepted the risk to her own health, but at the tender age of just 24, she has now been sterilised.
In the end, I'm sure there are many factors to take into account before these op's are carried out, but age is probably the least of them.

Thats most definately true.
The thing i hated the most about the op was the first few days after,i walked like John Wayne,had to pee in the most awkward possition and the size and colour of my balls was quite frankly hiddeous.

How about this for stupidity? i almost lost my life having my son and was told under no circumstances to have any more so i put in for a sterilisation (aged 29) and they refused as I might want more children later on ... erm :doh: but they were more than happy to discuss sterilising my hubby and agreed to sterilise him instead as having another baby was life threatening !!!
Can't say I've noticed a change in fluid though and I asked him and he doesn't think it's changed either

A friend of mine managed to get the doctor to sterilise her even though there was no medical reason and she was only 27 at the time!
No I couldn't be bothered .. Morbius had his snip a few days later and it seemed better to let him go for the day case than have me committed ..oops admitted to the ward for 3 days!
Just wish I could get my hysterectomy now though
