Hi everyone,
Newby here so not entirely sure if I'm doing this right but you have to start somewhere! On the topic of moth or butterfly, I believe that it's down to the way they fold the wings when at rest that is the determining factor, but as I know no one here yet, that isn't for me to comment. wink
Anyway, hopefully I'll get to know people soon enough and enjoy being part of this community. biggrin

Butterfly it is then!
A butterfly is awake during the day and a moth at night. Does that make any difference to your preference or is it still down to the hair lol
I like moths and butterflys me.......... :P

But I'd be quite happy with the butterfly (^ ^ ^) flicking about my bulb wink
Oh, and technically a moth at rest folds it's wings like a tent, butterflies keep them straight (flat or together)

They also have a powdery coating that they leave behind when touched, so unless Silk and big G have got a carpet that looks like someone's thrown a wobbly with a tub of Johnsons baby talc, I reckon a butterfly is better.
G is awake , and seen the thread :-)
I just know you fellas know more about animals than this . It isnt a moth , it isnt a butterfly . Its an angel !
Peace
I'm currently have a skinhead but about 10 years ago I had shoulder length hair. One night the biggest, blackest, hairiest moth I've ever seen flew into my room. I thought nothing of it as whats a moth to me. A couple of hours later I had an itch in my hair. As I ran through my fingers through that mop of mine I noticed that the big bad ass moth had decided to nestle its way into my locks. I freaked, jumped up and banged my head on the top bunk bed. I pride myself in being a phobia free person but ever since the sight of a moth makes me shake like a baby. I hate the things with a passion. DEATH TO ALL MOTHS!   Butterflies on the other hand are beautiful creatures so hands off!
Moths are fat, hairy, useless little buggers whereas butterflies are lovely... specially when tattooed on a gorgeous woman's thighs .... (you listening Sarah) wink
moths are atracted to any lightbulb-buterflys are a bit more choosy
Moths are usually found in their natural habitat which is of course.
A BLOKES WALLET lol
