Mothers Day Present

Well just opened my mothers day present from the kids. The card said "Dont take this present too seriously" Having usually gotten chocolates or flowers I thought oh must be something different great. I opened to be presented with a a bokk called
'THe BAD Mothers Handbook' by Kate Long
omg I thought I really I feeling guilty now. Have I really neglected them so much in the last 6 weeks that they are trying to tell me something?
NO the book is the opposite - lines such as 'when are you too old to throw up in a flower bed after drinking too much vodka' sprang out at me.... Its me! they love me lol
So now off to give my mum her present then will come back and read how to be a really BAD motherxxxxxx

I got two cards - one from the dogs & the other with a cuddly teddy with "I love you mum" on it's jumper from the CAR.......
My friends really have spent far too much time around me ..... confused

I got a wonderful bunch of plastic yellow flowers! a couple of homemade cards, and a rather dodgy breakfast of pancakes and tepid coffee biggrin

I don't get a card from the dog anymore :cry: And i've lost my daughter to the playstation and my husband to golf, so i am now spending the day alone!
Do they think i wanted some peace and quiet for mothers day? I don't :!: i WANT TO BE SPOILED AND MADE A FUSS OF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody has eaten the chocs i got, and the dog wants a walk. He expects me to take him even though he didn't get me a card? He must be joking.
I'm going for a long soak in the bath, alone!!!!!!!! I haven't got anything better to do, or anybody to do it with sad

I cook, I clean, I take my turn at ironing, I do most things MrsFC does so I see myself as an honarary Mother :shock: I got nothing either! confused

MrsFC has gone to her Mum's leaving me to sort my own dinner out sad

I was woken up at 10am bless the little sods thought my luck was in and a cup of coffee in the offering.
But as usual nothing another mothers day and no form of recognition.
Serves me right for having 3 boys doesnt it.

Oh Lucy. That's the mcdonalds i usually frequent for breakfast. Why didnt you tell me you were going? :shock:
