Pulp Fiction is my all time fave followed by Woody Allen's Love and death.
But for classic scenes:
The woody Allen one about death reminded me of this.
my number two (at a pinch)
lp
it hasn't been done yet has it?
little nipper.... and indeed:

lp
of course, right now on BBC1 is;

did I just say 'ace'?...blimey
Magic movie moments. There are so many:
We need a bigger boat!!
You know how to whistle don't you? Just put your lips together and blow!
But I'll plump for these:
The Searchers. The end of the film. John Waynes bitter cowboy has reunited the family. The camera is set inside the house framing the group in the doorway. Slowly in pairs the family troops into the house until John Wayne is left alone. He turns and walks into the desert. He has reunited the family but is excluded fromm the group.
I find it deeply, deeply moving.
The Captive Heart. A old war film. A POW needs to break his hand so he cannot write letters home. He is in a party put up a fence. The camera focuses on him holding the stake and cuts to the sledgehammer falling to drive the stake into the ground. You see his hand slowly move up the stake and then it moves off camera onto the top and you see the hammer fall Uuuuuurrrgghhhhhhhhhhh.
my all time fave film is this one, no particular fave bit just love it all.
I also just love this film, especially this scene

The end of "The good, the bad and the ugly" when Tuco is running round the graveyard "Hey blondie, you know what you are, just a dirty son of a ....." (Eli Wallach)
or perhaps "god!.....whose hand was I holding?" (julie harris),from the original version of "The Haunting"
Two is not enough!
Oooo oooo I've just remembered
"He's not the Messiah, he's just a very naughty boy"
A quote that seems so appropriate to so many people in the public eye.
