Sorry to be a bit thick, but why should there be a system of moving up the board by just clicking a button. We placed a 'couple wanting to meet couples for dogging', and within 10 minutes of it going on screen, it was down to page 2 as all the guys put their ads to the top. I know you will say it stops people readvertising, but it has put us off completely as people have to trawl through the same adverts time and time again to get to the geuine new ones. Sorry we are the only ones to think this, but had to say it. mad

Hi there..
Mark did look at removing the "view new posts" option, which would mean that users would have to check each relevant category, but was sent an inordinate amount of e-mail asking for it to be re-instated..
all i would suggest is that you make your ad appealing and you're sure to get replies.
hope this helps.

Hiya Ivor and Jane,
The adverts are designed to be searched on by category, with each category being listed showing the latest post first.
Anyone using the categories to search on will not encounter the issues you describe. Unless, of course, it is a woman looking through the ads for a man confused

I told you we are thick - haven't found the section for 'couples into dogging' yet!! Please could all you people who are much clever than us explain how we get onto that section so we will not be amongst all the men advertising. We honestly thought 'dogging' was for people interested in dogging, and couples looking for couples was those into swapping. Let us explain again fully. When we advertised for a couple to go dogging with, by the time I could visit another site, then go back to check it was on, it was on page 2. The usual ad for the 25 year old lad who only wants to watch, the guy with the 9 inch cock and thirty others had moved back to the top as usual. If you read the ads a lot, you will see the same ads at the top. The same with the fetish ads - NE Master seeking trainee's! is always on page one no matter how many people put new adverts on. I agree that he has every right to advertise on here, but surely he doesn't al;ways have to be on page 1. If it is so important to be on page 1, why can't we stop all this geting to the top lark. We will not be advertising again as we don't see why people who put on one ad and stick with it, should have to look through the same ads over, and over again looking for anything new. We understand that the site has 99% men advertising on it, but it will not attract real couples who come second to all these guys, instead of equal. Thanks for your comments as it means at least this site is real and alive!! redface

You may mock, but my ad has been viewed over 500 times so someone must be searching that category. Probably other men looking for inspiration to improve their own ads. ;)
In seriousness, I skimmed down the first page of the Dogging category and 23 out of the first 30 ads were from single guys, and all updated within the last 3 hours; I think that's gonna be a problem for as long as there's mixed categories and such a huge single guy/everyone else imbalance. But I don't know what the solution could be - the only thing I could think would be to allow the viewer to choose between last-modified and random ordering, but most viewers probably wouldn't bother. :?
Ivor and Jane - I do sympathise with your plight - those photo ads add up so quickly because Swinging Heaven is sooooooo busy these days. If you are looking for couples do go dogging with and are sick of all the single guys advertising in the dogging ads, why not try advertising on the dogging section of this forum? OK, that's full of single guys too, but there are plenty of couples who look at and join in on the forum - you might have more chance of meeting someone in your area. Just a thought! lol
Hello Ivor and Jane.
Have you thought about linking your advert to your forum posts?
In the 'Lets meet up' forum, KitKat has a post telling you how to do it.
It's a 'sticky' so you'll find it at the top of the page. lol
I'm not very good at computer stuff, so maybe someone else could add a link in here? rolleyes

We agree. All we wanted was to find other couples to go dogging with, but perhaps we've been mistaken. Dogging seems to be single men watching or joining in with couples in cars. Could someone please straighten us out on this one??
The forum doesn't help either in our case... So far we've had corresspondance from lots of single men, some of them seem nice personality wise, but not what we're looking for.
We what DON'T like is guys pretneding to be couples and then meeting us saying 'wife decided to stay home this time mad :x :x
