When you say register, do you mean your nick that you use in the chatroom??....
We use Mozilla here and have no problems accessing the chatroom using Java (Although we do prefer mIRC for the chatroom)
If you mean your nick then that would be a completely seperate thing. If you can give us more details then we should be able to help

I was so sceptical about firefox cos Neil recommended it! 
I had to eat my words as it is really quite good.
He hasn't given my tutorials on how to do all the cool stuff with it yet, but I'm learning as I go along. Fantastic stuff firefox and :flippa: to MS IE!

Firefox is the best software I've come across for some time. I have no problems getting in here, & it remembers passwords etc. One other forum I use gave me problems, but that was because it was written using the Pearl language which is now a bit out of date, & it has since been updated.

It won't balls everything up
It works a lot like Internet Explorer, but it's better at blocking op-ups, does a few extra nice things that IE doesn't, and is much more secure.
The first thing you need to do is decide if you want Mozilla, which does everything Internet Explorer and Outlook Express does, plus a lot more, or if you just want the Internet Explorer replacement bit, which is called Firefox.
You can get Firefox here - just click the English (british) Windows link on that page. Mozilla is here , just click the Windows, English link in the Download Now box top right.

What exactly are the symptoms - do you get any error messages?

And what have you done? I recently found a couple of trojans and viruses on a friends computer that were preventing him from accessing the netpassport system and MSN email pages.
Trend housecall found the beasties, but couldn't do anything with them and I couldn't find them to remove them manually, so I decided it would be quicker to format and reinstall windows.
4 hours later we're back and running.
