And I was when the Mal's mentoring scheme was running a very good mentor for the newbies. :P I only ever had onenewbie complain that I was not very friendly, and that was becasue he sent me a one line shag me pm, so I told him what to go and do!

For what its worth I would say to anyone who is nervous about going to a Munch not to be.. The fact you turn up says alot about you so just be yourself and if people like you thats a bonus if not what does it matter, your no worse of that before you got there.
I would add that those thinking of going just to get laid may be a little dissapointed and could be setting themselves up for a fall as such. If anything were to happen thats great but don't go with that purely in mind you might seem to come accross as desperate.. Far better to go with the intention of meeting like minded folk and to have a good time.
Be yourselves....... its far nicer
