Just listening to some tunes this evening. Some i've not listened to in years. I had a really good session playing different tunes feeling the different moods. Amazing how music can affect a person. Sometimes wanting to laugh, cry, dance, shout, get angry, get excited yeah and want to shag too.

brilliant just brilliant!!!!
I periodically get my old vinyl out for a play.......that doesn't sound quite right :-)
It always ends up making me feel a bit weepy as each record takes you back to a different time in your life but usually when you had feck all to worry about and had your whole life ahead of you.
My kids laugh at these huge plastic disks and think having to balance a little needle on them is hilarious.
biggrin yea well i for one cant live without music
You are so right, music fits perfectly to every mood you are in. I love nostalgic nights when I play all my old 80's music and try and imagine being 16 again!... music brings back so many memories of that decade - I just love it! lol
I've had to stop playing Rammstein in the car because I was speeding redface
Now I play mostly Buddha Bar or Cafe Del Mar ambient stuff. It's slowed me right down :giggle:
i have noticed that the faster them music the faster you drive, too. I tried fixing this by only playing Lou Reeds 'Berlin' in the car, but that record makes you feel like crashing...
There's nothing better than The Ramones to get the adrenalin going when you're driving, everything's 100mph!

The only way to listen to music is on vinyl! Take this from a vinyl junkie with well over 5000 12" discs. At the end of the day it's recorded in an analogue format rather than running it through a analogue to digital converter hence it sounds so much better biggrin

and for those of us who don't actually drive just yet, i generally find that a razor blade makes a somewhat cheaper alternative to a Volkswagon? dunno confused

in edit: thats a 'yes' where I agree with your statement, not a "Yes"... as in Tales from Topographical Oceans, or whatever it was... although...now I think of it....
I know my street cred is gonna go down the pan.................but you can't beat a good singalong to the fabulous deep tones of Karen Carpenter

What street cred? lol Love the new atavar by the way. sillyhwoar:
Karen Carpenter had a wonderful voice. I may be under 30 but I like a lot of music from the 60's, 70's and 80's and a lot of classical music too.
Mrs Kiss and I went to the Dianna concert yesterday and still can't help thinking that Status Quo are crap.

cred schmed! Karen Carpenter had the voice of an angel and as much as I love my headbanging heavy metal, she's one of my faves

I'm a trained sound engineer so I know it was nothing to do with the mix. lol
I've nothing against the band or people that like them, I've just done so many gigs and seen a lot of bands, Status Quo are just an average pub band 'done good' in my opinion. But it's only my opinion. biggrin

Guitar wise you only need to learn three chords to play all their stuff, hardly proficient musicians, but hey they have a loyal following so who am I to argue?
Is this the most inappropriate use of a song ever?
Friday night, swingers party, 1am- lots of bodies all over the place in the throes......the background music?
:karaoke: " A woman in love needs only one man"
WTF!!??
