Heard something on the radio today (yes it was Radio 2 redface ), which I found intriguing.
It was the suggestion that your most embarrassing music album says a lot about you.
Now we are all interested in the sort of people we might be coming into contact with here so it occurred to me that if we reveal our most embarrassing album we'll all get to know eachother a lot better.
At the same time I think that what we think is the most cool album we have also says a lot.
So- what
1) Is the most cringe-making album you have in your collection? AND
2) Do you think is the coolest album you have?

Incidentally, Angelica just said to me that she hasn't got any cringe-making albums but I've just heard strains of Petula Clark drifting upstairs dunno
Mine? surprisedops:
Well one is 'Modern Ballroom Music for Dancing'
and the other is (I think) Booker T and the MGs 'Green Onions'
I'll let you work out which is which! wink
.
Oh Queen of cheese here  :bounce:
My ex used to get me to do the housework with the windows shut, so noone could hear my music :undecided:
So, ummmmm embarrassingly uncool album dunno Dunno which one to pick :lol2:
S'pose the one I play the least confused
Ohhhh it's gotta be the one called "The Greatest Country Line Dancing Album in the world Ever" - or something like that, can't find it at the mo :dunno:
Trouble is, I've never done line dancing in me life - so when I played it, I just resorted to doing that dance everyone used to do to "Mud" songs, Tiger Feet and all that, where you just step round in a circley square type shape :?
Coolest Album  Kind of in short supply in this house - excluding teen Missys collection, which, in my opinion, is nowt but a bluddy row and not cool at all :?
Sooo, my coolest album - hmmmmm gotta be The Smiths somethingoranother, bought it years ago :smug:
In reality tho - I didn't want the album at all. Was shopping with me mates, wanted to buy the Thomson Twins album, but didn't want to look uncool, so ended up buying The Smiths one they were looking at :?
Think I played it once, when said mates were round, so had to - then put me Bony M back on as soon as they left....... and were up the road far enough away that they couldn't hear :? redface
redface surprisedops:    I dont buy that many albums these days as I prefer to download them but.....
I do have Jason Donovan's album which I bought when I lived in Australia....
And to top it all I have downloaded some of the cheesiest songs tonight
Brotherhood of Man - Save all your kisses for me
Abba - Dancing Queen (that's not too bad :lol2: )
Barry Manilow - I write the songs
Dana - Its going to be a cold cold christmas
Nolan Sisters - I'm in the mood for dancing
Slade - Merry Christmas everyone
St Winifred's School Choir - Grandma we love you
I think I will stop now as that is my reputation well and truely shot to pieces :giggle:

Ooooh sooooooooo good to see you!!
And give that lovely husband hugs n kisses from me too please :D
My most cringeworthy album has to be The Rubettes Juke Box Jive......on cassette tape to make it even worse redface
The rest of my cd collection is ice cool but maybe the coolest would be either Stabbing Westward s/t album or John Martyn's Grace & Danger cool ( off to see him in concert next month too )
Going slightly off topic here but staying with music i heard recently that a westlife concert got called the best gig of all time.....who came to that conclusion? If anyone knows the answer to that please let me know so i can arrange to have them commited. I can think of better shows than anything westlife could come up with (i can think of better primary school nativity plays to be honest)
Cringe-making: Osmonds (FB) Ken Dodd and the Diddy Men (Mr-FB)
Cool: Savage Garden - Affirmation (FB) Guns & Roses - Use your Illusion 2 (Mr-FB)

embarrasing album is , the ultimate cheese party. great for a laugh at partys
most cool is either rod stewart or queen might go put queen on now since i have to hoover up
my neighbours love me really its derek they hate with his led zepplin he thinks its the greatest band everrrrrrrr i think it sounds like a car crash
Well well, My worst one is a band I hope no-one has heard about! They are called 'The Peter Gullen Trio' and It cost me a fortune to import it based on a snipit of a song I heard on the radio years ago and then after getting it couldn't find the song I heard that night - Then in my recollection realised that I was pissed at the time.
Best one that I have (lost) was on vynil and was TSOP - What an album that was !!!!
If anyone knows how I can get in on CD I'd be eternally grateful biggrin
